About this property

House on Douro, Mudgee

Just a short walk to Mudgee's cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs.

The house has been refurbished and furnished with the latest modern conveniences including flat screen LCD TV, reverse cycle air conditioner, Free WiFi, leather furniture and more.

There's a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, modern bathroom with a shower and full sized bath as well as separate toilet and laundry.

There are 2 bedrooms in the house each with a queen bed with linen supplied. A portable cot can be made available on request. (Base rates are for 2 guests using 1 bedroom. Please advise before booking if the use of the 2nd bedroom is required for 2 guests so the rate can be adjusted. Refer rates below.)

Leave the car in off street parking and walk to all Mudgee has on offer or stay in and relax on the covered outdoor deck with distant views to Mudgee's surrounding hills.

Rates are based on number guests as well as how many bedrooms are required. Please advise on booking how many rooms and if the cot is required.

The house was freezing cold. The split system AC was not effective at all. Had it set to 30 heat and barely too the edge off the cold. Furnishing was extremely budget. I have stayed in far better in Mudgee and recommend looking around.

Apologies for the air conditioner not working properly. We were unaware this was happening but it has since been fixed. We could have provided additional heating options if you had contacted us with your concerns at the time.

The house was basic and clean. Being on Douro Street it was a bit noisy from trucks early in the morning.Parking was good and closeness to the town excellent.

Overall very happy but it was the main road so a lot of noise at all hours. Also a very bad smell which we think was left over perhaps from painting and the place being closed up. However very nice accommodation otherwise.

Perfect location

Stayed for Mudgee Classic - perfect cycling distance to start & finish. Simple house, good beds, good hot water, responsive owners. Off street parking. Plus great access to eateries and wineries.
