Great gas cooker, terrific hot shower, rustic atmosphere and a size that was common in goldrush days. Very comfortable beds and warm.Labelling drinking water would be useful.Thank you for sharing the home
Wanted a quirky place to stay for a few nights. This was the perfect place. It is true to the description. An absolutely unique older building, solar powered, with gas stove/oven, all bedding supplied, kitchen equipment for cooking own meals, overhead fan, light over the dining table, radio, toilet/bath/shower easy to access. Just right for all my needs. Fireplace options. Comfortable and homely. The only thing I supplied was ice for the esky /ice-box to keep my cooking ingredients cold. I definitely plan to stay again in future visits to Tarnagulla.
Great experience to stay at the pebble house. No phone, wifi, TV but history books, crossword books, trivia cards and back to talking lol. We enjoyed our stay in such an old town as Tarnagulla. Interesting place.

Lovely words, Tori. Great pic of your kids in the bush. Little wildlings. Welcome back anytime.
Another very chilled weekend at The Pebble House (my 6th stay over the past 14 years) I love staying here as much now as I did when I first discovered this little gem of relaxation. This special place has a unique ability of reminding you of your own mortality and the passage of time. So good to get away from the hustle and bustle and allow your mind to remember what’s really important in life. Thanks for having us Janine. Needless to say, we’ll be back :)

Such a unique and rustic little cottage that is full of charm. Everything we needed was provided, and the BBQ was certainly well used on those hot nights. We loved exploring the area and very handy to have a golf course across the road as managed to get in a few rounds. Thank you for having us!
