This is the kind of place that you can walk into with some sand on your feet from the beach and not freak out, because it's a beach house for families. 

It's a place for you to enjoy, to relax, to feel like you're at home.

Only 400m from the beach there is a playground nearby, convenience store, jetty, fishing, shopping and places to explore.

We have room for 7 people with one King Size, one Queen, a double bed and single bed.

We don't charge extra for cleaning, we pay for this ourselves, so please be respectful and tidy up after yourself. Everything you need to leave the house the way you found it is onsite for your convenience. If our cleaning team finds a disaster area after your stay, you may not be invited back.

Second Valley

Located 91KM's South of Adelaide, Second Valley is divided into two parts - the old mill on the main road and down the Valley to the sea, a tiny coastal port reminiscent of a Cornish fishing village.

Second Valley is ideal as a Kangaroo Island stopver only 15 minutes drive from the ferry or 20 minutes from Deep Creek conservation Park with its spectacular secnery and bushwalks. A short drive to several stunning golf courses and there is plenty more to see and do.

Things to do?

If you're into snorkeling, there are rock pools with fish and other sea creatures to discover including the famous leafy sea dragon.

If you like fishing, why not try for squid or garfish on the historic Second Valley built in the 1800's otherwise the brand new jetty at Rapid Bay is only 10 minutes away where the snapper might be biting.

In summer the secluded beach is fantastic for families and offers crystal clear water and a safe and friendly environment for the kids to play.

Our family absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous beach house at Second Valley. It felt clean, homely low maintenance with a great layout for a holiday home. Our boys loved the little cubby outside and the deck was perfect for reading a book and listening to the birds. Great spot with a short walk to the beach and playground. Coffee at the caravan park kiosk was a surprising delight. We would love to stay again soon.

This accommodation was absolutely fantastic. Very well looked after. Everything you need is there. Air con in each bedroom. Beds in each room are the most comfortable beds ive ever slept on. Couch is comfortable. The art collection around is superb. Book collection is impressive. Charging for an electric car if you need it. 5 min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. Take your snorkel gear. Definitely will be coming here in the future the kids loved it.

Cosy getaway
