The Carriage House was so cute and fun. The decor is lovely, and the layout is very unique - perfect for our daughter and the two of us. She had the front sunroom area that has two wonderful beds that could also be for napping or lounging. The upstairs furniture is very comfortable for sitting, kitchen is well stocked, and the upstairs deck provided a great outdoor place to have a glass of wine and read a book after we arrived. Location is perfect for 30A access. We did not use the pool or walk to the beach.

Clean, quiet and close to the beach. Spent two nights. Walk to the beach was quick and safe. Everything was very clean. Bath tub is deep= bonus! Enjoyed our time and would love to return.

We rented both the Carriage and Cottage Houses. It was wonderful having the additional space that was separate but close by. This is a great smaller rental and we would definitely rent again.

beautiful home close to the water

We enjoyed the carriage house as part that we rented with the larger house as well. It was the perfect addition to add space. The only problem was the downstairs became hot at times while the upstairs was nice and cool. Overall a cute and cozy place to stay.

Cute house, just right for my sister and me!

Easy walk, about .2 mile to beach. 30A nice area, not as crowded (yet) as Destin. We enjoyed our “Girl Trip” and the Carriage House was charming. Overall clean, but could use a good deep clean.

Cute, cozy, comfortable

The carriage house was the perfect little space for my husband and I to spend a few days. The beach access, great restaurants, and shopping are all so close and easily accessible by sidewalk. We visited just after Thanksgiving. We were unsure if the house had heat but we were a little chilly at the end of November during our visit. Not unbearable but glad we brought warm clothes! We could not get the DVD player to work in the bedroom but it did not really matter as the TV had a lot of channels! Overall, this place is an incredible value for its location and amenities. Steve is a great owner and communication was easy and efficient. We loved our stay!!

Perfect little get away!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Carriage house. It is conveniently located and not far from Destin or the happenings of Seaside. Our family of 5 never wanted to leave! We stayed a week and never got sick of each other LOL

Not clean. Many bugs in the house.

Cons: House was not well cleaned. Horizontal surfaces littered with bug carcasses. Ants come out every night and crawl about the walls, floor, and furniture. Linens and towels are low quality and stained. Interior and exterior house finishes are showing wear and tear. Be careful walking barefoot, especially along the entry walk. Pros: Good location and access to beach and neighborhood amenities. Good size space for two. New and full size refrigerator. The air conditioning works well. Overall the place would benefit from thorough professional cleaning between occupants, and a more rigorous maintenance schedule.

Loved the house!

The house is so cute and great for our family of four. My girls loved the staircase. This was our first time to this area- we loved it! The town is peaceful. The neighborhood was safe and pool was nice. Only problem was we needed more draw space with a weeks worth of cloths. Definitely would come back!!!! The Forsyth's

Cozy space

We love this cottage. It is great for two people and has some nice outdoor space. Enjoy eating on the deck and also love the pool area in this community . The owners are really helpful and very nice people. They are currently making and continue to make upgrades to this property and it's companion house

Super cute, and convenient property

This property was perfect for our family of 3..... it's hard to find rentals small enough for a small family, without going into a condo, and this one fit the bill perfectly! (You could easily fit 2 more people comfortably.) Beach was just a short walk away. Decorated cutely, and had all of the extras we wanted for a winter rental, where we spent the evenings inside.... including lots of games, books, and dvds.... I loved the dual coffee pot. Great for making an additional cup in the afternoon. The kitchen was adequately supplied, and we loved all of the extra towels in the bathroom! If there was just one reccomendation.... caution if you are older with bad knees.... the spiral staircase was tricky! Our son loved it, but I could see where it could be tricky if you have mobility issues....... All in all, we had a great stay! Thanks for your hospitality!!!
