A lovely 3 Bedroom, 2 bathroom Heritage home in Central Ballarat with 2 living areas. This appealing and recently renovated house has high ceilings, polished floor boards and period features combined with the modern comforts of central heating, huge corner spa and fully equipped kitchen with walk-in pantry. The kitchen opens onto the rear covered deck for alfresco dining. Unlimited NBN Wi-Fi & pay TV included. The fantastic central location places you within 3 blocks of supermarkets, restaurants, the Bridge Mall & bus interchange and within 5 blocks of the CBD and Sovereign Hill, it is 8 blocks to train station. There is a flat screen TV with DVD player in each living area (42"/32"). You will find comfortable, quality furniture throughout the house and quality linen and electric blankets on all beds. The property contains one queen bed, two long single beds, two king single beds and a double futon in the formal lounge. Off-street parking is provided with entry from Haymes Crescent to the yard and a secure oversized 2-car garage. Laundry facilities are located in the second bathroom.

Owner went 'above & beyond'!

I can't say we've ever stayed in a house where the owner was so friendly and happy to help in whatever way she could to make our stay the best it could be. Rachel really did go 'above & beyond' for us right down to info on Ballarat, good places to eat and what to do in and around Ballarat with kids. Our booking, payment and contact prior to stay was handled with the upmost professionalism. 'Barkly & Haymes' itself is in a great location, was airy and bright and the right size for our family of 5. The house was clean, well equipped, and the breakfast provisions were a nice touch for the weary traveller. Thank You Rachel for everything!

A great little place close to Soverign Hill

We were in Ballarat for the Winter Wonder lights at Sovereign Hill so having the house just around the corner was really convenient. A separate room for the kids to watch TV and DVDs was great and they thoroughly enjoyed the spa bath ! A cosy little place when we came in from the cold. Thanks for the stay.

Beautiful home in great location

The owner went above and beyond to make our stay over Christmas special after our move from WA.  The home was very comfortable and inviting and had everything we needed. The house is walking distance to downtown Ballarat which was perfect for our needs.
