Jetty Cottage is a modest holiday home & while it is not waterfront it sits 300m from the shores of the beautiful Wilson Inlet, the boat ramp and jetty. Feed the pelicans at the end of the laneway or take a leisurely stroll or bike ride to the dramatic coastline and world class surf of Ocean Beach - so close that the echo of its crashing waves forms the background soundtrack to your evenings.. Launch your kayak or dinghy 300 meters from your front door and paddle to the mouth of Wison Inlet where it meets Ocean Beach, explore the Nullaki peninsula or more. Hike to experience the mesmerising ocean, inlet and southern coastal views atop Mt Hallowell, whose karri lined slopes plunge from the clouds to the ground via granite boulder lined walkways through the canopy undergrowth which begin just beyond your back garden..

Jetty Cottage is located close to the Bibbulmun Track - one of Australia's most exciting long-distance, bush walking attractions. The Munda Biddi bike trail from Perth to Albany is also nearby.

Denmark has some of the most spectacular and diverse beaches on the West Australian coast. From wild beaches with big surf and strong currents to the sheltered bays such as Greens Pool which will make you feel as though you are swimming in nature's own swimming pool.

Great family holiday

We had a great time in Denmark, and the house was lovely and clean and homely. The house is in a great location, close to town and Ocean Beach. Very comfortable house and a great base for exploring! Hopefully we’ll be back!

The house is about halfway between the Town which is on the river and Ocean Beach where the river mouth meets the ocean, which was really convenient.The house was clean and tidy.Only minor things were there was no firewood when we got there, it does say firewood is provided for the colder months, reading other reviews i note this subject has come up before, i think it would be better to say you either get 1 bag of firewood or you dont - its too amigious, it was certainly cold enough when we were there!The only other minor thing was that there is nowhere really set up outside to BBQ, no covered area makes it difficult to BBQ in the rain, would imagine that no covered are in summer would be quite hot as well.Overall good value for money and would definitely consider staying here again (:

Christine was a pleasure to deal with, very helpful. There are several areas we were not happy with, that includes: I resent being charged a cleaning fee, especially when I arrive and the house is not clean - spiderwebs in every room, dirty windows, inside and outside, dead cockroaches in the utility drawer and everything else appears to have only had a 'quick' wipe over. Plus - there is a note on the fridge telling us to clean everything before we leave. I think it is rude to provide basically two nights of firewood and then to advise if I require more I have to pop up to the service station to buy some. This is the equivalent of saying you can only use the air conditioner for two nights and then you have to pay extra! In addition, we booked out on 18 April, leaving everything clean and tidy, but I only received my security deposit on 5 May - that is an obvious money making rort for HomeAway. Denmark and the surrounds are beautiful and you definitely need more than three days in the area.
