Beautiful, relaxing bush environment, walking distance to town centre.

Our lovely wooden home is nestled in the beautiful Denmark bush only a short walk from town. It is truly Denmark with its natural rustic charm with a warm country feel, this inviting house will make you feel right at home. Nestled amongst the trees on a five-acre property really close to town, we have two residences on the property, and both are very secluded from each other but perfect for two families who want to stay together. Send me a message if you would like further information on this.

This property is quite large and is wood lined and extremely homely. Our guests love it and return year after year. It is a fabulous family holiday home equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing, and everything is very easily accessible and close by. It is very much a home away from home for our guests and I love that people want to return to experience a true Denmark holiday in the beautiful natural surrounding bushland.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please put any used towels in the bath, you can leave the beds as they are as the cleaner will attend to these.
Can you please wash dishes properly and put away.
Denmark is big on recycling. It would be greatly appreciated if you can recycle properly and put all rubbish and recycling in the outside bins before you leave.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The house can accommodate four guests; there is another room with two single beds in it. Liaise with the host directly if you wish to use these.

We have stayed in all sorts of accommodation high and low end in Denmark. What stands out about this one is its rural quiet feel within a short walk from town. It really is the perfect comfortable Denmark stay. Host is really lovely and the amenities are all you need.
Breakfast and aperitif gazebo a plus!!

Beautiful property. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Peace Street. Loved spending the morning under the gazebo, amongst the trees and birdsong, and the evenings by the fireplace. Was a perfect place for a winter getaway. Would recommend!

Tranquil Escape

We had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous bush block. The setting was tranquil, offering the perfect escape while still being conveniently close to town and the daily visits from kangaroos were an absolute highlight. The home was clean, well equipped and suited all our family needs. Highly recommend.

Lovely Winter Break

A wonderful property, with towering trees through large front and rear windows. The house itself is lovely and warm, beautifully decorated. Everything a holiday maker needs is in the house and the vibe is very cool. Pot belly stove was great for our winter getaway and the small family of kangaroos that dropped in every morning were a bonus. Brilliant location, walk to town is easy. Owner was great with excellent communication. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Golf weekend

Three of us stayed for a golf weekend. The location was great. However some maintenance is needed. One of us was stuck in the loo as the handle was missing and had to yell out a few times for help from us at the other end of the house. So we couldn’t close the door while using from then on! No dishwasher so some of the plates and cutlery we had to wash before using as there was old food on fork tunes etc. No wifi or if there was there were no instructions. We tried to get in touch with the host but had no wifi so no communication. A bit disappointing.

Hi Janine, Thanks for your review, apologies for not being so prompt with a reply! Our place is not advertised as having wifi which is why you couldn't find it, or the instructions. It is also not advertised as having a dishwasher either. Doing a few dishes never hurt anyone, although it appears the guests before you weren't much good at it! Haha. That's ok, my lovely cleaner has taken that on board for future stays. Wifi is being set up now and will be available for future guests..I am very sorry about the door handle issue, this has been fixed now, my maintenance person is unsure how you got yourself locked in there though. It is a lovely older style wooden home that oozes Denmark bush charm walking distance to town and is not suited for everyone perhaps, but that is the beauty of choice I guess? Regarding the dishes and any cleaning related feedback I welcome this at the time and would have been more than happy to liaise with you directly. Feedback is important and very much taken on board. It is my families beautiful holiday home and we love to have families come and stay and have been operating for 6 years on another platform. And have many guests return year after year. I guess a beautiful natural bush setting walking distance to town with kangaroos in the yard is not everyones cup of tea. I do hope you had a nice golfing weekend though! Vanessa 🥰
