Recommend Wyndham Cottage to stay if your visiting St Kilda. Our host couldn't have been more helpful and the cottage was as described. Everything was clean comfortable and well equipped with everything you could possibly need.Public transport just a few minutes walk. Thanks again for a lovely 5 days!
The cottage was everything that was promised in the description and extremely well equipped. St Kilda is a treasure and the cottage had the great advantage of its location to all points of interest and public transport. We especially liked the proximity to Albert Park, South Melbourne and the houses that maintained a wonderful integrity with the past.
The property was as listed, clean and in great condition. Andrew was a great host, attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay again on my next visit.
Secure & secluded little secret courtyard tucked away from the bustle of St Kilda. This cottage is perfect for 1-2 guests. Warm & cosy with lovely deco features throughout. I enjoyed being walking distance to everything but able to enjoy the tranquility of a private & safe cottage & garden.
Great little cottage in a fantastic location. Andrew was easy to communicate with and we appreciated all the little extras provided... especially the chocolates. So close to Albert Park with a huge off leash dog area and property was very safe andnsecure for our dog. Would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful time in this cottage. Andrew thought of everything that you could need or want. It was a wonderful refuge from the heat. The yard and barbecue were an added bonus. We loved it and would highly recommend it!
Lovely place to stay to have a look around St Kilda great food and coffee. Easy to get in a tram and 20 mins to Melbourne city. The host was helpful and provided lots of information to make our stay fabulous and was quick to respond. The house was clean and tidy with great amenities.
I loved it - the location close to heated sea water baths, Palais theatre and tram stop. the owners appear to have thought of everything one we need during a very comfortable stay. thankyou Julia

Thanks Maggie, was a pleasure to invite you. Thanks for taking great care of the cottage and look forward to the chance to invite you back hopefully.
Lovely cottage in ideal position for St Kilda and tram network. Cottage has everything you need and more. Andrew very helpful. Would love to stay again.
The cottage was perfect for our 2 week stay. Very convenient to grocery store, several trams into downtown Melbourne, Albert Park and a short walk to the beach. The cottage and courtyard were quiet because it's not directly on the street. The kitchen had what we needed and Andrew thoughtfully provided a few items to get us started, so we could make a cup of tea when we arrived. I'd definitely stay again.
An absolute oasis in Saint Kilda! The Cottage is perfectly appointed, and has everything one or two people could need, but one the most beautiful aspects is the garden - a real sanctuary. When you look outside, you think you’re in the middle of the countryside, but are in fact only a few hundred metres from vibrant Fitzroy Street, with all the trams in and out of Melbourne and a short walk down to Saint Kilda Pier. Andrew was absolutely fantastic, he looked after everything, gave us all the information about the cottage and the area you could ever need. We were there for two weeks, it was the most fabulous two weeks we’ve ever had in Melbourne.
Very pretty clean and bright cottage with lovely garden. All conveniences. Centrally located. Owner very helpful and communicative. Parking tricky but permit eases the challenges.
This is the 2nd time we've stayed. The cottage is very well set up and inviting. It has everything you might want when away from home, even down to the small things you might forget to take, like scissors and rubber bands. It's the best set up accommodation we've experienced. And it is in a fantastic location for accessing Melbourne, especially by public transport. (Go Route 96!)
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our one month stay at Wyndham Cottage. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook meals at home. The living area and bedroom were comfortable and roomy. Loved the BBQ and patio.
The location can’t be beat. It’s a quick walk to Fitzroy St, Acland St Village and the St Kilda Esplanade Market. It’s a block from the tram making it convenient and easy to explore the rest of the city.
Our host, Andrew, was great! He made sure we had everything we needed, responded to messages almost immediately and gave us excellent local recommendations.
Highly recommend!
This is a charming, comfortable cottage with the benefit of quiet, private outdoor space to enjoy some down time in Melbourne. It is comfortable and well equipped and communication with the host was excellent. There is easy access to a main tram line into the CBD (about 25 minutes to Federation Square) and a short walk to good size grocery store. Please note it is a vintage cottage with all of the associated charms and quirks. The kitchen set-up is a bit tight if two are trying to cook. Also, note that there are multiple small steps up and down into the garden within the garden, as well as a few steps up to the bathroom from the main level of the cottage. This was no issue for us, but might be relevant for someone with mobility or balance issues. We were delighted with our stay and would choose this same accommodation again!
This is a charming little cottage, great for two people. Furnishings were nice and very comfortable. Andrew has provided many thoughtful extras, like beach towels, a grocery carrier, umbrellas, and lots of information about local restaurants and transportation and maps, etc. He was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Lots of interesting restaurants in the neighborhood and close to public transport. We did find access to the cottage a little tricky, especially after dark, as it’s tucked in behind an apartment building with either a narrow walkway alongside the building or through an uneven walkway from a laneway (alley) on the other side of the building. Not a huge deal but could be tricky for some.
What made this cottage really special is the patio and garden. It is truly a hidden oasis. Relaxing to sit in and pretty to view from inside the cottage. I loved it!
If you are interested in penguins they can be seen after sunset at the nearby St Kilda pier! Free and within walking distance!

Had a lovely week at the cottage. Location is fantastic, near a lot of nice cafes, shops and public transport options to get into the city. Andrew is a very helpful host, with plenty of info at hand about the cottage and area.
The cottage itself is very nice. The courtyard is really beautiful and a nice spot to relax. Liked how secluded it felt, and our dog enjoyed the stay too.
