Our host (Vicki) was very helpful, easy to contact and supplied us with all the information to access the apartment a few days before we arrived. The apartment was beautiful, very very clean and so many extra little touches Vicki supplied that made our visit memorable. We would definitely recommend people to stay at the apartment. We love it!

I felt so blessed to have Pippa and her family as guests, communicated well prior and during their stay. They were incredibly respectful to our apartment and adhered to all house rules and more. They left the apartment spotlessly clean and tidy when they departed. They took great care of my apartment. Highly recommended! I would love to host Pippa and her family again.
Very clean well appointed townhouse in great location. Suited us perfectly as within walking distance of our sons apartment and also close to great eating places and the tram.

Helen and her friend were amazing guests easy to communicate with. They took great care of the apartment and left it immaculately clean. It would be the pleasure to have them again in future I have no hesitation to recommend them to other hosts. Very happy host Vicki
I stayed in Vicki’s apartment for a few nights over the Grand Prix weekend. The apartment was clean and functional and well positioned between Brunswick’s and Lygon streets and a short Uber or tram ride into the city. Vicki was very good to deal with too. Happy to recommend this place.
Vicki and Romina were Fabulous Hosts! The apartment was in great location, close to shops and Restaurants/ Cafe’s.
All the appliances through the apartment including linen and towels were lovely quality.
Just a beautiful apartment! Highly recommended.
My sister and I were very happy with “The Barkly” in Brunswick during our recent 4-night stay. Everything was very easy from booking, to check in and departure. Vicki was warm and friendly in communication and responded promptly to any queries. The apartment is very clean, light, airy and spacious, and in a great location….to Sydney Road and Lygon Street for transport, cafes etc, and Barkly Square for general shopping. The kitchen is well equipped and there were lovely additions of a number of items in the fridge and also the bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment.
This apartment is in an excellent location, walkable to most things travelers need, with fantastic car and transit access to the city. Vicki was quick to respond when we had questions, but otherwise respected our privacy. We appreciated the garage, the big tub, and the tremendous assortment of coffee-making options.
On the down side, there were several cleaning and maintenance issues with the apartment, and if you're going to stay a while like we did, you might find yourself wishing there were a more upright, comfortable arm chair in the lounge area. Wifi is stashed in the back bedroom and signal is weak in the main living areas of the house. We couldn't get most of the TV channels to work, so streamed through HDMI from our laptop. (The TV is too old for casting, but does have HDMI ports.)
Our main issue with the apartment is that it offers little soundproofing from neighbors next door and downstairs, and the old windows and balcony doors don't provide much sound barrier from the street noise outside or barking dog next door. If you're not going to be around much, this might not bother you, but you will definitely hear TVs, conversations and other sounds from the neighboring units, and the dog next door is likely to wake you up during the 7 a.m. hour if not before. We would have chalked this all up to living in an urban neighborhood, but the listing notes a quiet street (only true in the middle of the night) and we had specifically asked about noise transfer from adjoining units and were told that in Vicki's 4 years of living there, she didn't remember hearing anything. That's not really possible, as we could hear conversations clearly.
So, overall a lovely place, but not quite as advertised.
We were granted the privilege of using this property to shoot a short film in. It was exactly as it appeared in the photos, if anything more spacious in person. Communication was clear and easy with the homeowners, we stayed a couple nights and were out no problem. Lovely area, and a very comfortable stay
The location was perfect for our trip , close to the Melbourne Children Hospital, the Zoo, shops and a very short walk to Lygon street , which has everything you need for dining .
Unit is wonderful and comfortable
Big Thanks to Vicki
We had an excellent stay at Vicki (and Romina) 's property. It was very clean and there were numerous thoughtful touches, like food and milk in the fridge, and excellent cleaning materials etc. It was handy to trams and buses and shops. We hope to be back !

We had a fantastic time - thank you! It was a lovely clean and comfortable property in a great location. Supermarkets and restaurants are close by and trams are only a short walk away so you can park your car in the garage and explore Melbourne stress free.
Thanks also to the property owners who were so accommodating and friendly when we were arriving late from interstate. Thanks again and we will be back!
