Why they chose this property
As lifetime San Antonians, with time out for life in New York City and San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, we wanted to come home to be part of our community and help build its future. We chose Alamo Heights, because of our deep roots near here and because, from our point of view, it is the crown jewel of San Antonio's diverse neighborhoods. When we bought the house, it was a small, simple artist's cottage in a wooded area, with lovely fruit trees, and boasting a small studio for painting. Over the years we have expanded the house and filled it with our curated treasures, art and antiques from here and abroad, giving it a unique and eclectic flavor, but , most of all, a sense of warmth and welcome to all. Along with that expansion came the development of our separate casita, and opening it to guests from many States and, indeed , around the world, from places like Taiwan, China, Canada and Europe, all of whom it has been our pleasure to welcome and assist with their explorations of our home town.
What makes this property unique
What is truly unique about our home is its location in a one of a kind warm, friendly, beautiful and safe neighborhood, near the best of all that San Antonio offers, and the rich, welcoming ambiance we have been able to create here.
