A gentle grassy slope to the rivers edge makes it easy to launch small watercraft such as canoes, kayaks and float tubes. There are many floating options available with two boat launches upstream within two miles and many more downstream, the closest being a half mile. There is a spotting scope at the house so you can zoom in on the eagles, beavers, rising trout, ducks or even (Loona) the Loon the has spent the summer with us.
