Situated on the beautiful foreshore of Nightcliff, enjoy the stunning sea view and relaxing atmosphere from this top floor modern 2 bedroom apartment. Celebrate the 'moment' from the balcony with your favourite beverage, cook a bbq, or relax on the balcony lounge and watch the changing colours of the sunset over the Arafura sea.

The spacious apartment has lift access, secure parking, WIFI internet, modern furnishings and is air-conditioned throughout. Enjoy the comfort of 2 queen size beds, (and extra bed(s) provided as required), and a separate toilet and bathroom. You will be able to make use of a basic pantry of foodstuffs, a coffee machine, make your own fresh juices, bbq, laundry, and fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with dishwasher. Only 15mins from the CBD, and the airport, and close to public transport. Enjoy the local attractions along this popular foreshore - a 5 min walk to the Nightcliff pool, Foreshore Cafe, also the popular Beachfront Hotel, and various food stalls. Take the bikes down the road to the colourful Sunday Nightcliff market, shops and restaurants or for a leisurely coastal ride. Walk along the beach, have a picnic or try some fishing at the jetty, or off the rocks at your doorstep. All gear supplied. Then after a day of sightseeing why not take a book and relax on the balcony lounge before toasting again 'your happy moments of the day' !

Great location and apartment

We used this apartment as our base for exploring Darwin and Kakadu. It was all fantastic, from the view to the beach across the road, to the parking area and the apartment itself. The apartment was very well appointed and had a state of the art coffee machine! We did some cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped. Communication with the property manager and owner was prompt and friendly. Would recommend!

Jodie is a wonderful host, we loved her apartment , perfect position on the Ocean , magnificent views, stunning sunsets, kitchen and pantry well stocked, nice quiet area, evening sea breeze even though hot days, very comfortable without relying on air conditioning which was available in all rooms, we used Jodie’s Toyota for travelling in and around Darwin which was perfect, we certainly recommend “ What a View”

Lovely relaxing holiday on the Nighcliff foreshore

Jodie's apartment is right on the foreshore, with a fantastic view of the palm tress and Timor Sea, including sunsets from the spacious balcony! A sheer pleasure to enjoy those sunsets, and breakfasts, on the balcony. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, with high quality appliances and furniture. It is spacious and airy (quality ceiling fans & aircon too). Great TV and excellent wifi. Location is perfect: 10mins drive from airport, 5mins to Raid Creek & Nightcliff markets, 7min walk to Nightcliff swimming pool (which we used most days!), 15mins to city and Botanic gardens. Bikes (& helmets), picnic gear (including table & chairs), and a big washing machine and useful clothes dryer. Excellent stay, we will be back!

Fantastic apartment with beautiful views

This property was just lovely as was the owner Jodie who could not have been more helpful. The views of the sea and sunsets from the balcony were stunning. The facilities and provisions supplied were fantastic. The location was great with a pub, swimming pool and cafe just a stroll away. There was also a walking/cycling path along the foreshore park opposite the apartment. Food trucks also set up in the park of an evening. We also hired Jodie’s LandCruiser which was a great deal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit.

Jodie was super easy to deal with! The apartment is huge! Kitchen is large and easy to use! This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay! Fabulous

This was an awesome unit in the perfect location for our group of 4 adults. It has a walking path across the road which follows the coast, eateries within walking distance and a beautiful view from the roomy balcony. We loved it!

The best location in Darwin

This is a straightforward two bedroom/one bathroom apartment in a very well kept block of just 12 apartments with friendly neighbours (not to be taken for granted at a short term rental). The kitchen is fully equipped and the balcony is big enough to eat and relax in the seabreezes. The view from the third floor over the park to the sea is gorgeous. The apartment has a light, airy and spacious feel to it. But the greatest asset to this place is the location - right on the Esplanade with a quiet road and a sort of linear park and then the sea. There is the Foreshore Restaurant a short walk one way and the renovated Beachfront Hotel the other. And every evening there's a delightful food van or pizza oven in the park too. Just take your chairs and wine and relax and watch the sunset while you enjoy the food. Also this park has the walking/cycling track that joins Lee Point to the CBD - a fabulous resource for exploring by bike. And the location is practical too. There's a Woolworths/BWS in Nightcliff about 15 mins by bike, the huge Casuarina shopping centre is 10 mins by car, the airport is also 10 mins by car and the city centre is 25 mins. Only one thing to note - the quoted rate does not include wifi which must be negotiated separately and seems at odds with the relatively high price daily price tag.

Fantastic apartment!

What a view to sea, indeed! My friend and I had such a great time staying here. Waking up to that amazing view every day was incredible! The apartment had everything we needed and more - it was big and airy and felt like home the moment we walked in. Jodie provides anything you can think of. The apartment is in the best part of Darwin with great food and coffee just minutes away. Thanks so much - it was a heavenly holiday.

Wonderful

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home.The host was delightful and full of local knowledge.The position is fantastic and the use of the bikes made everything so much more accessible .Would recommend hiring a car though as well.The unit was exceptionally well equipped and functional.The views are amazing and we will certainly go back to watch the stormy season and highly recommend this unit to anyone.Thanks Jodie for allowing us to share your home.
