Family home in Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Morbihan

Detached house on two levels, very well maintained, on a plot of 1700 m², space for several cars at the back of the house. Adjoining annex recently built. Totally fenced garden with grass and trees. Neighborhood of individual houses. Suitable for a large family as for several couples with children. All shops 5 minutes by bicycle or 10 minutes on foot. Beaches 5 minutes by bicycle. Regular bus to Vannes (€ 4 return). This house is also occupied by children and grandchildren of the owners. Regular maintenance, a bathroom completely renovated in 2015, floating floors installed in three rooms in 2015, floor renovation of the first floor bedrooms planned for April 2019.

Long house of 80 m² floor space with:
Ground floor: separate kitchen with dishwasher and fridge-freezer, living room with dining area, bathroom, separate WC, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with two 80 cm twin beds , a bedroom with two beds (trundle) of 80 cm.

Upper level: a bedroom with double bed + cradle, a bathroom (sink + shower) + WC, an independent WC and two bedrooms with two separate beds + crib in one.

Garage with washing machine, freezer and independent shower and WC.

Annex (20 m² on the ground) built three years ago with on the ground floor table and chairs corner + workshop and sink-sink with hot water, and on the upper level a bed and three folding beds of quality.

Electric heating by convectors, and independent radiator in annex.
New roof in real slates.
South-facing terrace.

La propriété correspondait bien à la description sur l'annonce. Nous avons pu échanger avant avec le propriétaire pour les quelques questions que nous nous posions. A l'arrivée accueil très sympathique des propriétaires. A recommander!

Fantastic house!!!!

We had a fantastic time at his house! The house itself is very nice and very comfortable and had everything we needed. The yard is huge and had many toys and games for children (and grownups!). A beautiful beach (plage des Govelins) is about 1km away, easily accessible by walking (~10min), bike, or car (there is a huge parking there and it's easy to park). The hosts were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Communication was easy. We couldn't have had a better stay and would happily come back!

Très bon séjour

Maison fonctionnelle et bien équipée, grand jardin avec trampoline, ping-pong, badminton, le tout avec la plage et le centre accessible à pieds. De belles balades à vélo possibles également. Plein de jouets pour enfants dans la maison, parfait pour notre séjour avec des enfants. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et compréhensifs. Nous reviendrons sûrement !

Bonne location pour des retrouvailles familiales !

Séjour de 2 semaines en juillet 2016 à 7 personnes (1 semaine) puis 9 (2nde semaine). Des + : de l'espace, des équipements d'électroménager bien que datés nombreux et corrects ; certaines chambres récemment refaites très agréables ; les pièces d'eau nombreuses et spacieuses, l'organisation des espaces est bien adaptée pour un séjour à plusieurs générations avec des rythmes de vie différents sans se gêner ; le coin repas est spacieux et bien agencé pour de nombreuses personnes ; la mise à disposition de vélos, d'une table de ping pong et d'un trampoline est un vrai + ; la localisation de la maison près du bourg et de la plage est très pratique (accessibles très facilement à vélo et même à pieds) ; le spacieux jardin bien entretenu est très agréable ; une dépendance (dont nous n'avons pas eu l'usage car pas assez nombreux) ajoute encore de l'espace de vie si plus nombreux que 9/10. Quelques - : la propreté des lieux à l'arrivée un peu légère ; une fuite de gaz identifiée à la remise des clés à l'arrivée qui tend à indiquer que la maison n'avait pas été vérifiée préalablement et qui a entrainé l’obligation de gérer les rendez vous pour le dépannage et la non possibilité d'utiliser les feux gaz de la cuisinière durant 5 jours, le temps que la réparation soit faite, avec comme élément restant pour préparer le repas une plaque électrique, un micro ondes ...la présence sur place dans une autre maison mais sur le même terrain des propriétaires durant 2 ou 3 nuits à l'arrivée et une nuit au départ interroge (même si ils ont été vraiment discrets ) car nul n'en avait été averti au moment de la signature du contrat de location...la partie salon de la pièce de vie pourrait être plus confortable (un unique canapé de 2 places + fauteuils en plastiques en nombre suffisant mais peu confortables) mais cela on le savait au départ. Malgré ces « moins »et grâce aux « plus », nous avons passés en famille un très bon séjour et conservé des relations cordiales avec des propriétaires aimables. Un geste commercial du fait de la fuite de gaz eut été apprécié.
