Joyful stay!

Great property in the best location

We loved staying at this property in Byron Bay. We wanted somewhere close to the beach and close to town, having a 12 month old with us; this property was in the perfect location. The property manager was an absolute delight to deal with and the house was left very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Byron getaway

We just loved our little mini break here. Location is perfect, you can walk everywhere. I also really appreciated the attention to detail like an amazingly well stocked kitchen & pantry, having beach towels and basket provided, super comfy beds. We will definately be back!

Lovely house well appointed very close to town centre

Great family home, fully equipped and furnished to high standard, very short walk to town centre cafes and shops and the beach. Stephanie the property manager really welcoming friendly and helpful with recommendations for cafes and restaurants, and organising transport to airport.

Dreamy stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The beautiful house has the best location with a short five minute walk to the main strip and the beach. If I go to Byron again I will be staying here.

Lovely Spot in Byron

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay at Flori and Jack. The property manager was a joy to work with and met us at the property to settle us in. The location of this property is excellent - a quick walk into town. There is one street facing bedroom that gets more noise but we had a noise machine and the curtains in that room blocked everything and our little one slept with no issues.

Warm and welcoming

We had a really lovely stay in Byron Bay despite the rain! The house provided great accommodation and it is very central to the town. The property was clean and well equipped and communication with the owner was very easy. Good heating/cooling, plenty of hot water, linen etc. The only negative is the proximity of the house to the road. Overall a great experience and I would happily book this accommodation again. Hi

Friends getaway to Byron

The property was a great position, only 5-10 minutes walk to all of main streets in Byron Bay. The house had a fantastic open plan and was ideal for cooking and enjoying a chat as a group. Also the front deck with a hammock added to the extra space to relax. Stef was really helpful with checking in. The only issue was that the address we were sent by Stayz was not the same as the address of the property. Slightly confusing, but this was sorted out once we arrived.

Pleasant but not perfect.

We were unfortunate to travel during a terrible storm at Byron Bay which limited our enjoyment of the beach and lifestyle. Being stuck in the house so much, we were grateful that it was so comfortable, clean and secure, and provided exceptional amenity. I found that the traffic on the main road outside was quite loud all day; which was only noticeable when enjoying the deck outside. Also the rear neighbours had parties with loud music till the early hours of the morning several nights in a row. That was a bit of a downside of the otherwise very central location. The master bedroom was a great cosy space. The other bedrooms were nice too, however the lack of air con in the other bedrooms was a bit of an issue on hot nights. Overall a pleasant stay but some niggles that we specially were challenged by.

Clean and well equipped spacious property. Good access to town and beaches. Off road parking. Road noise a bit intrusive in second double bedroom but manageable. Overall excellent and highly recommended.

Wonderful Stay - not long enough!

We had a beautiful short stay - we really didn’t want to leave. The house was so comfortable and suited our family perfectly. It was very centrally located and we walked everywhere. My only complaint would be the traffic noise but we really only noticed it during the day.

Peaceful proximity

Well equipped haven out of the fray but an easy stroll to the beach, shops and restaurants. We spent hours on the large deck lounging on the lounge or swinging in the hammock.

Nice but a bit over priced due to noise traffic location

The house overall nice simple things in the kitchen Smaller and more salad bowls, oven was very slow to cook or crisp potatoes, blender to make smoothies better beach towels throw rugs on sofa for cooler evenings Few plates not clean in draws , no basics like sponge and washing detergent once requested quickly rectified Bit noisey with traffic

Perfect Byron bay getaway. Lovely house.

This was our third stay at Flori and Jack and we'll be back. The house is lovely, great enclosed garden so you know the kids are safe. Minutes from the town and beaches. Great to be able to walk to the cafes and beach. I can't recommend Flori and Jack enough.

Comfy home away from home

This is was our second visit to Flori and Jack. We were so impressed the first time, we couldn’t wait to return. The house is so comfortable and well appointed, and the location is perfect. A short walk to shops, cafes and the beach. From booking to check in, the service has been top notch, and we loved it so much that we booked our next trip back for later in the year! Highly recommend the property to small families, groups and travellers who enjoy all the small comforts of home whilst holidaying in one of the best parts of Australia.

Having spent a good portion of our lives in Melbourne, we discovered Byron Bay in around 1994 when our two daughters were 2 years and a few months old. It was a magical place where the kids could sit on the beach, and we could while away the time (keeping them entertained and cared for). We kept coming back until we decided to take a leap and make Byron a more permanent part of our lives.

Our children have grown up, but still treasure Byron as their 'special place'. We enjoy the variety - whether a walk through the national park up to the lighthouse, then a swim at Wategos before walking into town for an amazing coffee and brunch.

Whether browsing the numerous and ever changing shops, boutiques and food spots - both in Byron, the Arts and Industrial Estate - or the many small towns in the hinterland, or just going for a hike somewhere, there's always something to do.

We also enjoy the activities that Byron is a haven for - whether surfing, kitesurfing, paddling, yoga, walking, cycling, barefoot bowls, tennis, pickleball or just lying on the beach. There is always a variety of entertainment - with numerous pubs featuring live bands, DJ's, as well as numerous street buskers - and at times, comedy and theatre. Sometimes we treat ourselves to a massage, and immerse in Byron's 'wellness' offerings.

Byron is also well known for its various festivals - depending on the time of the year - whether the Byron Bay Blues Fest in April, the Writers Festival, Film Festival and many others.

Being a host allows us to share our 'special place', with people from all over the world, and from all walks of life. Its really satisfying to be able to provide a fantastic environment for guests to truly enjoy Byron. We have put a lot of effort and thinking into creating an uncluttered, airy, spacious and luxurious house - where we can be confident that 'if its great for us', it should be 'great for our guests'. We also enjoy helping guests with recommendations and special needs.

Why they chose this property

We love the beaches, the beautiful water, the unique vibe of the town, creative spirit of its eclectic community, amazing cafes and restaurants and of course, the hinterland - where small windy roads give way to magnificent hilly overgrown vistas, and constant surprises. Its a base from which to adventure, unwind, and always discover new things - whether an amazing weekend market, a spectacular waterfall, unique world class restaurant, or a long deserted beach.

Byron is 'different'. There are no high rises, no international fast-food chain stores - mostly a vibrant, innovative and interesting collection of small shops, cafes and restaurants. When walking on the beach, buildings are mostly hidden. Its got a unique spirit and vibe that's hard to describe but easy to succumb to. A visit will always refresh and replenish !

What makes this property unique

Our property stands out because firstly its CENTRAL, but also is a wonderful oasis. Located in the exclusive 'Golden Grid', its suburban, its part of the original residential area of Byron Bay - but only 5 - 10 minutes WALK from the shops, beaches, and everything that Byron has to offer.

Surrounded by trees and accessed from a laneway, the house has an extensive north facing deck which opens seamlessly into the house - and has a wonderful indoor - outdoor continuum when the extensive bifold doors are open.

We love relaxing in the hammock on the deck, watching the birds in the opposite tree, some tunes playing, or having a drink with family while relaxing on the outdoor furniture.

The house is kitted with all the mod-cons one should expect. Its spacious, airy and uncluttered and creates a wonderful 'relaxed' feel. Surrounded by grass and fully enclosed, the house really has that oasis feel. But if one feels like a takeaway coffee or a game of tennis. Its all only minutes away. Hot and sweaty after that tennis or pickleball game ? .... jump in the outdoor shower for a cool refresher.

Sometimes however Byron is rainy, and thus with a remote driveway gate, and parking under cover .... its five steps into the house.

Best is the path virtually outside of the house which runs straight to the beach. In 8 - 10 minutes, you can experience the magnificent beach, waves and water. Complete and total 'spiritual nourishment'.
