Carlton Beach Holiday House is ideally located right on a beautiful beach that stretches from Park Beach to the Carlton River mouth. This modern 3 bedroom house is light, bright and airy with quality appliances and fittings throughout. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, living area with panoramic views. 3 queen size bedrooms (main with ensuite), main bathroom with a bath, separate laundry and undercover BBQ/entertainment area. What really makes this property, though, are the large outdoor deck areas and private landscaped garden nooks. if needed there is heaps of off street parking for the cars, boat, caravan etc.

Everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay is provided, you really don't need to bring anything.

ONLY A FEW STEPS AND YOU ARE ON THE BEACH!
Carlton Beach is one of Hobart's most popular family friendly beaches. It offers safe swimming and is also popular for beginner to intermediate surfing at both the Park Beach and River Mouth ends. The house is right next to the Carlton Beach Surf Life Saving Club with lifeguards patrolling the beach on weekends over the summer months.

This location is perfect for a huge range of activies: - surfing, boating, fishing, kayaking, nature walks and much more. Near by services include a bakery, cafe, newsagent, supermarket, pharmacy and local hotel and bottle shop.

If you are planning to do some sight seeing, only 50 minutes driving will give you so many choices: Hobart city, Salamanca Market, Mount Wellington, MONA, Richmond Historic Village, Eagle Hawk Neck, Tasman Peninsula, Port Arthur or the East Coast. At the end of the day relax on the deck and enjoy one of the amazing sunsets.

I have been staying at this holiday home for over 10 years. Without fail, the house is impeccably prepared, well stocked, spotlessly clean, and obviously in a fantastic location. Debra, the host, is super helpful and approachable. We will continue to be frequent visitors!

Amazing house, perfect location

We had a fabulous stay here, the house is located right on the beach. We spent many hours with the kids on the beach, surfing and making sandcastles. The house itself is great, they have thought of everything making sure there is coffee and basic supplies for cooking as well as everything you need in the kitchen. The beds are all very comfortable and there are so many break out areas to allow peace for all members of the family/ group. Thank you for a fabulous stay, we will be back!

Wow! This beach house is spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly need. It’s in a great location, close to the local bakery, IGA, petrol station and pub. Easy driving distance to Port Arthur and surrounds. Hosts - AMAZING!

Perfect beach getaway

Property is clean, modern and spacious with a beautiful ocean-facing garden and plenty of sunny nooks and crannies to shelter from the occasional breeze. This is our third visit to this house and we are delighted with the garden and deck revamp! Lovely to sit in the afternoon sun watching the waves, and to be only a 3 minute walk from the water's edge is a treat. Beds super comfortable. Nice to see the kitchen stocked this time with a few basic supplies such as tea, coffee and condiments. Deb was helpful and courteous as always.

Perfect family weekend away

Fabulous location, we flew in and flew out for a weekend catch up with our Tassie Family who stayed at the house as well. Kitchen well set up and the view is amazing. Enjoyed the deck.

Beautiful Beach Break

We absolutely loved our stay at the Carlton beach house. Only a short stroll right to the beach over some dunes, it was bliss. The house was lovely, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room, and lots of entertaining areas to enjoy. Would’ve been complete with a fire pit but enjoyed it plenty with wine and beach views.

our favourite beach house

We've been staying at the Carlton Beach House for seven years now and always enjoy our time. This trip didn't give us the glorious beach weather we usually experience but the house was just as comfy on rainy days - we could sit inside and watch the horizon while we read books and chatted. The garden provides shelter from any direction of wind and we're just a few steps from the beach when the sun breaks through. House itself is well stocked with everything from multiple beach towels to pantry items to paperback novels. There is a hairdryer in one of the rooms. The bath is huge and has a jacuzzi function. Thanks again Deb for a lovely few days and we hope to be back again soon.

Perfect location!!!

We have stayed many times at Debra's wonderful property and really enjoy being there. It so relaxing to be able to walk straight onto the beach. Her place has got even better over the years as Debra continues to make lots of improvements.

We loved staying at this property for our girls night away. Loved the layout, the cleanliness, and the thoughtfulness of all the little extras. Beautiful beach house with privacy

Carlton beach house was a wonderful experience and everyone especially kids enjoyed it all the way from check in till check out. The house includes everything and even minute things which we may haven't foreseen to bring for holidays and when we look around we find these things in the house. You feel like it's your own house. Kids wanted to extend the stay for bit more. The owner has given the info accurate and very professional. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
