The Lodge Farmstay Fitzroy Falls

A 2 bedroom/1 bathroom self-contained air conditioned/heated, private lodge on a 70 acre cattle farm. Strict limit of 4 guests. There is only 1 guest lodge on the property. 1.5 hours drive south of Sydney. Large main room with King bed and ensuite. Bunkbed room and separate living/dining area with kitchen.

Huge entertaining deck with open wood fireplace, lounge seating, outdoor dining and breakfast kitchen bar.

The farm has cattle, pigs, horses, goats, miniature horses, turkeys, chickens, guinea fowl and ducks.

One farm tour is included with your stay, we can arrange this for a time that is convenient normally either 8am or 4pm on whichever day of your stay suits. The tour includes feeding and caring for all the animals. During the tour we feed the poultry, goats, pigs, walk and groom the horses and drive around the property in a 6 person buggy to see the cows. This takes over an hour. The animals are all in close proximity to the cabin so you are free to interact with them during your stay.

The lodge has a snowy mountain appearance with a new modern interior. The lodge has air conditioning/internal heating (fully insulated) and can't be seen from the main residence. It is very private and 300m from the road.

Bed linen and towels are provided. The lodge is professionally cleaned after each visit.

Guests have full access to the property including synthetic grass tennis court, (racquets & tennis balls provided) basket hoop and a kids trampoline, gazebo, BBQ and manicured gardens. A creek runs through the property.

The lodge has air conditioning and heating, gas oven/stove, microwave, BBQ, Aldi coffee machine and a fully equipped kitchen. Some basic pantry items are provided salt, pepper, olive oil, tea, coffee otherwise all food is BYO. There are 2 TVs and a DVD player with some movies provided. No Wifi or Netflix. Telstra phone reception is fine, Vodafone and Optus can have patchy reception. Travel cot and high chair available on request. Laundry facilities can be provided on request for longer stays.

Just a few kms from Fitzroy Falls National Park, 20 minutes to Bowral, Kangaroo Valley, or 45 minutes to the south coast beaches. Fitzroy Falls is on the edge of the Southern Highlands so has the luxury of quick access to the Shoalhaven region. Easy scenic drives to Berry and Jervis Bay/Hyams Beach. The property borders National Park and is easily accessible via sealed road.

Guests enter via a beautiful tree lined driveway bordered by stud black post and rail fencing. The property has a tennis court, basketball ring, horse stables, trampoline and 3 acres of manicured gardens. We live in the main residence and are on hand to answer any questions. The lodge is very private and separate from the main residence.

There is a minimum 2 night stay.

No guests unless pre approved. Check in 1pm and check out 10am.
You have exclusive use of the property during your stay.
