Great location- great house

Best vacation house. Very well stocked and very clean. Has everything you need to have a pleasant stay. You are near restaurants shops and beach. We had a great time and will likely go back.

The perfect home for our family and pup!

Anne & Leoā€™s beach home in Vero was perfect! The house was extremely clean, and everything we needed was there! The cleaning service arrived weekly, and they were pleasant, professional, and efficient. The home is so cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed having meals and wine at night on the screened in porch. We really appreciated being so close to restaurants, boutiques, and beaches! We barely drove our car except to go to Public which is only about an 8 minute drive. We hope to stay again next year for 2 months!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

January in Vero Beach

My husband and I enjoyed our month in Vero Beach. The location of the house is excellent---close to parks on the river as well as a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. While it's on a busy street, the house is tucked away and very private. It was clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Ann was very helpful with clear instructions about the check in process and responsive to us and any concerns we had during our stay.

Great house

Enjoyed our stay for 30 days. Close and walking distance to town and beach. House is spacious and was clean which is important to me. House is also extremely well stocked with everything you could need, including sand toys for my grandkids. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Is on corner of A1A and a little noisy during the day but is very quiet at night. Spacious and comfortable and would not hesitate to stay again. Also the grounds are nicely kept and flowers were very pretty. The owner Ann communicated well and is easy to reach if needed.

Home away from home.

This lovely home in a quiet community was home for a month. The house was all as it was advertised to be! Comfortable and cozy. We were able to walk to the ocean and the river. Everything we needed was available. Ann and Leo were so easy to communicate with , it felt like I was talking to a friend. If you are looking for a home to relax this is the place! Central Beach Hidaway

We left after one week. House did not live up to our expectations. We arrived to find that there was a huge construction project underway just outside our door. When I called the owner, she told me that a new bike path was being installed. After research it turns out a new sewer system with a bike path was underway. The construction trucks with the dirt and noise they bring made it impossible to use an otherwise nice screened in porch. Due to the construction barriers lining the streets, accessing the driveway was difficult.........While the construction was something the owners had no control over, it would have been nice to know about it ahead of our arrival. Since we are in our eighties, safety is a high priority. There were no grab bars in the showers. Other places the floors changed heights.....A real tripping hazard. Is amazing no one has been injured. We also were disturbed by the lack of sunlight in the house itself. As former residents of Central Beach, we found the house to be very dark. Even at noon, one had to have at least one light on. Not exactly what one expects when vacationing in Florida....Was hard to realize we were in Florida...the sunshine state.... The final straw was the imminent arrival of a hurricane....a rare occurrence for November.

We were suprised by this unusual review - especially after many positive conversations, and when the renter said they had to unexpectedly return home for health reasons - to see their doctors. Regarding construction, we've made it known that there is a bike lane being installed, and unfortunately we simply have no control over the timing, and we are looking into the anticipated completion date. There is also parking on the back side of the house, because it is a corner a lot, and so there are ways for that to be accommodated. In terms of different levels in the house, there is one small step down into the Florida Room, as that was originally a porch, and there is one step down onto the screened porch. The house has filtered light all day long - and one of our several returning guests is an artist who enjoys painting in the Florida Room. These concerns were the first of their kind in six years of rentals. We are always available to address questions about the property.

Home away from home.

This home has everything needed for a great vacation. Walk to the beautiful beach or stroll along the river. Restaurants and shopping all within walking distance! Home is comfy and stocked with all the essentials you will need. The lanai was our favorite spot. WE could watch the rabbits play as we ate all our meals . The neighborhood is beautiful and the people are friendly.

Perfect!

Beautiful space near the beach! The house is very private and the large trees provide plenty of shadow for those hot afternoons. Inside stays really really cool if that is something that you want. We loved having the large porch to have lunch with our kids while having a chance to see the many wild rabbits that the property has. The short walk to the beach and the many options of restaurants and shops makes it an ideal place to say in Vero Beach. hopefully we'll be back.

Vero Beach & Indian River Getaway

If you want to be within walking distance to Vero Beach and the River this is an excellent choice! The house is modern and clean. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms . The laundry room is spacious and the living room is very comfortable. The kitchen is big enough to cook anything you desire. This Beach home has everything you can imagine and then some. It's fully equipped for sure. You will love the neighborhood and will always want to return.

Whether summer, winter or in-between, we love the beach and we are walkers! Virginia gets cold! So we tend to think about Vero Beach - Vero weather pops up first on my phone! A comfortable climate - we're happy to have you and yours enjoy our place...enjoy the sound of the waves, the breeze, the sand between your toes, the way the sky changes, and the people - so friendly. It's just fun to be at the beach! Our Sand Castle is designed to be relaxing and EASY to enjoy whether solo or with family and friends.

We have explored the beaches up and down the east coast, and beyond. We enjoy good food, nice people, the excitement of seeking new finds, and the comfort of coming home...and sometimes to a home-away-from-home.

We've lived long enough to know what we like and there is so much to like about Sand Castle and Vero Beach. I never worry if I'm pushed for time before leaving Virginia, because anything I need is just around the corner...and we'd be glad to pass along those resources to you as well. That's how a good neighborhood, and good neighbors, work together.
