Bishopthorpe ("Bishy") Road is known as mini Notting Hill, was voted best UK local parade in 2015 and is proud of its award winning independent shops, eateries and pubs. Host to regular street parties and charity events there is a special vibe about this area that so many people love. This stylish Victorian townhouse retains many original features and is just a couple of minutes from "Bishy Road", a short walk to York city centre, and 15 minutes walk to York racecourse. There is no better location for a York break.

Why they chose this property

We've always wanted a property in this area - walkable to the city centre and with all the Bishy Road shops, pubs and restaurants on our doorstep. We live here some of the time when we fancy a change from our main home in a nearby village.

What makes this property unique

Walkable to Bishy Road (2 mins), City centre (10-15 mins depending on which bit) and Knavesmire Racecourse (15 mins).
