Coorong Cabins - Pelican Cabin

Overlooking the Coorong Lagoon, Coorong Cabins are the perfect place to stay and explore the natural beauty of the Coorong National Park.

The Coorong Cabins are nestled in an award wining garden and they provide a private place to relax after a day of exploring.

Pelican Cabin sleeps 4 in two King Size bedrooms. Pelican Cabin is fully air conditioned and comes complete with a combustion heater and wood to ensure that your stay is comfortable whatever the weather.

The Space:
Coorong Cabins are located in an award winning garden at Noonamena, in the heart of the Coorong National Park.

Noonamena is the ideal place to explore the Coorong National Park as it is close to the amenities of Meningie (10 minutes) and is close to key Coorong access points like Marks Point, Long Point and Tauwitchere Barrage.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to all of the amenities of Pelican Cabin.

Pelican Cabin has two king sized bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom and a generous deck that overlooks the garden.

Pelican Cabin is fully equipped with hammocks (for lying around on the deck), canoes (to explore the Coorong), DVD's, books and games.

All guests have access to a Games Room that includes a bar, darts and more games, books and entertainments. Four bikes for adults and four bikes for the children are also supplied.

When weather permits, there is a fire pit for guests to use, a sunset viewing deck and a guest laundry.

A camp kitchen is located immediately adjacent to the Pelican Cabin, extending your space and access. Relax with a BBQ and a wine at the end of a day's exploring.

The Neighborhood:
Coorong Cabins are located ten (10) minutes from Meningie.

Meningie is a popular stop over point for people travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road. Meningie has good shopping facilities with two supermarkets, a bank, a Hotel, a restaurant and other services like a hairdresser, information centre and coffee shops.

Getting Around:
Off road parking is available at Coorong Cabins providing you peace of mind.

Unfortunately, there is no public transport or taxi's servicing Meningie.

Other Things to Note:
Coorong Cabins are located 10 minutes from Meningie. Shops close in Meningie at 6.30pm - Upon arrival guests receive a bottle of SA Wine, box of Melba’s Chocolates, voucher to Meningie Hotel and Coorong Brewing Co, freshly baked bread, freshly ground coffee, milk, cereal, Beerenberg jams, condiments and much much more! Help yourself to the fresh produce from our seasonal veggie patch or collect your own eggs from our resident chooks!

All beds are supplied with an electric blanket.
