About the host
Hosted by Angela Darbyshire

I am an experienced traveller who enjoys nature, photography and hiking. I love meeting people from all walks of life and nationalities and enjoy the opportunity of sharing the attractions of Somers and the Mornington Peninsular with my lovely guests.
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with the perfect blue sea, gentle shaded bushland paths and soft white sands of Somers one Australia Day weekend, and then found this cottage, a short stroll to the beach on a large corner block.
What makes this property unique
Somers is a quiet and pretty place where you can admire the Milky Way overhead, ride a bike or walk for miles along the beach. It is also very close to Melbourne, and to all of the attractions of the Mornington Peninsula. Koala Cottage has soft carpets, sun filled rooms, comfortable beds and a tranquil feeling. It is pleasant to enjoy meals on the wide front deck or to relax there in the cooling breeze. There is a koala tree on the nature strip outside, and koalas can sometimes be seen moving from tree to tree in the evenings when it is quiet. Koala Cottage is also one of the cheapest holiday rentals in Somers.
