Twins Inn - Nantucket Beauty Oceanside on the OBX Southern Shores

My sister and I recently purchased a true treasure in Southern Shores. Twins Inn, a spacious 7 bedroom, 6 bath, 2 half-bath home has it all! Make this your 2nd home for a week (or two) and you'll never want to leave. You will enjoy relaxing on one of several decks, swimming in your private pool and unwinding in the hot tub. The kids will love the play set. This beautiful house is close to an uncrowded beach on a quiet, dead end street. There is no road to cross to get to the ocean and you can walk to the beach in under 4 minutes.

Southern Shores is a great place for a family vacation. There are community sidewalks for biking, jogging or walking. Many shops and restaurants close by. Twins Inn, at over 4,400 square feet, is the perfect setting to make family memories. There is a huge fenced yard and the property is surrounded by trees. Adults will enjoy the climb up to the crow’s nest for horizon views of the ocean. There are two living areas to enjoy—a sunroom on the second level and a huge great room with vaulted ceiling on the third level.

Seven bedrooms, 6 full baths, 1 half bath - (2 master bedrooms with King; master bedroom with Queen; 2 Queen bedrooms share a connecting bath; master bedroom with 2 full beds, master bedroom with 2 Twins). Sunroom/den with CATV/DVD. Washer/Dryer. Furnished deck with rocking chairs.

Huge vaulted ceiling great room with bamboo floors, CATV/DVD, stereo/CD, dining table seats 10, additional dining/game table seats 4, kitchen island with 4 bar stools, half bath, extra large kitchen with granite counters, separate pantry, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, beverage center. The house was everything and more. It was the cleanest most stocked house i have ever stayed in. We will stay there again. It was a great vacation house i would recommend to everyone!

Fun Vacation - Beautiful House

The house was comfortable, spacious and perfectly located away from traffic and close to the beach. The hosts were easily accessible, and extremely helpful, offering great suggestions for things to do. The house has a pool and a play area; perfect for our five grandkids. We all had a great time.

Absolutely wonderful

Large, clean, beach house with everything you need. We enjoyed the pool, we walked to the ocean every day with our 4 small grandchildren, family, We used the provided wagons, chairs and beach carts every day. Thank you Neta, this was a wonderful family vacation at Twins Inn. 🌊⛱️🏝️🐚 🐬🏖️

House was great!! Plenty of room, short walk to beach, and pool nice after beach! Great that bedrooms on second floor while kitchen and tv room on third. Has a separate tv room on second that kids had their own space. Will rent again next year!!

Outstanding in every aspect!

Twin Inns is superb! It features 7 large bedrooms, 6 full baths and 2 half baths. Perfect for a large family. Sleeps 16 people. Also has 2 large family rooms. Lovely kitchen with 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers. Kitchen is fully equipped...everything you could possibly imagine is there! Decorated beautifully. Every thing was immaculate ...we have never stayed in a place so clean. We hope to stay here again soon!

The Best

We had the best trip at Twins Inn! You couldn’t ask for a more perfect house than this one. The house has everything you need and more! The location is wonderful - on a quiet a street with a short walk to the beach. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool after the beach. We also loved hanging in the crow’s nest to watch the nightly stars or in the morning with your coffee. I really can’t say enough good things about this house and the owner. We look forward to staying here again! Thank you so much!

Simply perfect!

Wow! This property has it all-location, ambiance, comfort and space. We had a large family group, ranging from 7 to 77, and everyone was impressed. This truly is one of the most well furnished houses I've ever stayed in- bring your clothes and groceries, and the house is equipped with everything else. We loved the easy walk to the beach, easy access to Duck, and the quiet, serene neighborhood. Neta could not be easier to work with, and has put so much thought into making her guests' stay exactly what an Outer Banks get-away should be- simple and carefree!

Wonderful house

This house is so spacious and well laid out, extremely clean; communication w owner immediately addressed any issues we had. Kitchen very well stocked (we had family Thanksgiving dinner there). Enough seating for all of us throughout the entire house; towels were thick and very nice, water pressure in showers was awesome. So many extras - nice high chair, sturdy gate to block off the stairs for babies and toddlers, nice porta crib; multiple refrigerators for food and drinks; 2nd great room to take a break from family was added bonus. HIGHLY recommend this house and would stay here again. VERY short easy walk to the beach, wish we had stayed there in the summer and could have enjoyed the pool!

OBX family vacation

I usually don't give reviews, but had to this time. The house was very clean and very very well stocked with just about anything you could imagine you would need. If you plan on cooking a few days, this is the kitchen you want. The accessories in the kitchen were great! Having two refrigerators next to each other was very helpful too. The house is very spacious, lots of room. I wouldn't change a thing. The owners were very attentive and great to deal with. The pictures online are true to the house, and the house actually looks better in person. We were all very happy with the location, yard and pool as well.

perfect beach house!

We had the best time at the best beach house. Can't wait to come back next year. New Playground for the little ones and space for yard games for the adults. The pool was lovely with shaded areas for those who like to stay out of the sun. The kitchen was very well stocked and a great layout for groups of people to center around without feeling crowded. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Had great beach carts for hauling chairs and toys to the beach (about a 4-5 minute walk depending on how many toddlers were in tow). Loved the quiet street with little to no traffic, and plenty of parking with large driveway for the kids to ride their scooters. We loved it!

The Twins Inn was perfect! Neta was a pleasure to work with and was super responsive and helpful throughout the process. The place is huge and easily accommodated our extended family of 8 adults and 7 children under the age of 6. Kitchen is fully stocked. Outdoor shed has plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, pool toys, etc. The pool and hot tub kept everyone entertained when we weren’t at the beach. The beach is an extremely short walk away with an access point right at the end of the street. 5 out of 5 stars across the board. Excited for the next visit to twins inn!

Wonderful experience renting this home... I cannot say anything I would change or lost as a concern. The floorplan was expansive and super functional. We had kids from 3rd grade to 9th grade and the extra living room was a wonderful space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and as a group who loves to cook we were pleasantly surprised to find a ample supply in the spice cabinet. The huge pantry and two refrigerators upstairs were super beneficial and really made stocking up groceries for the week a breeze!Loved it so much we plan to rent this home again! Thank you Twins Inn for a wonderful place to call call home for the week.

Great Vacation!

Everything about the property was terrific! We had 4 families altogether which included 3 small children. There was a lot to do at the home as well as the beach and it was extremely clean. The home had everything that could possibly be needed for a vacation at the beach. It is a very beautiful and well stocked home. This is a keeper on the vacation list and we will return again!

Southern Shores with Hurricane Ian

Perfect for a multi family vacation!

Beautiful home with everything you could ask for from a vacation rental. The additional living area on the second floor was the perfect place for the kids to hangout, and the kitchen had everything you could want to cook for everyone. Tucked in a quiet street, and just a short walk to the beach. Would recommend to anyone, especially people vacationing with multiple families!

Amazing house!

The Twins In. Is absolutely amazing! The pictures do not do it justice! Everything about it is wonderful. Some other reviews have mentioned that you don’t need to pack anything for the beach or pool and they weren’t kidding! Tons of sand toys and pool toys plus chairs and beach carts. The kitchen is well stocked as well. I can’t recommend this house enough. Would definitely book again!

Best stocked house

We have been renting on the Outer Banks for 20+ years. This is by far the best stocked house we have ever had. The closet with pool and beach toys and chairs was so nice to use. It is much larger than it appears. We loved the floor plan. Large bedrooms and convenient 1/2 baths where some floor plans wouldn’t have had them. Watching sunrises and sunsets from the crows nest.

Simply PERFECT

The house was a perfect layout for our family reunion! A large kitchen and living area provided plenty of room for our party of 12 to comfortably eat (and play). Bedrooms were all very lovely. As the first to arrive, we had the first choice of rooms, and it was a difficult one because they were all so nice. The house was clean and very well stocked with plenty of plates, cookware and utensils. Two refrigerators and two dishwashers were extremely helpful and a nice touch! The house was an easy walk to the beach and to the town of Duck. I can highly recommend this place and thank you for giving us a wonderful Outer Banks experience.

Comfortable and Spacious

Neta’s beach house was a perfect spot for our family and friends, we had more space than we needed! The house was equipped with all the kitchen supplies we needed and all of the bedrooms had bathroom suites which was awesome. The patios and rooftop deck were the perfect hang spots. The weather was too chilly for the pool but we made good use of the swing set with the kids! The beach was steps from the house. We also loved being so close to downtown Duck; we rented bikes and rode down the bike path every day for some ice cream and to play the park! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Great stay at Twins Inns

Twins Inn is a beautiful and spacious house nestle among shades of live oaks in Southern Shores. We had an amazing 4 night stay. The house was perfect for our couples reunion. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for dining. The beds were comfortable. Everyone in our group agreed on how great the house was. It was a wonderful place to stay!

Best rental experience ever!

There were 14 in our party and this property had everything listed in the description PLUS ALL we needed to enjoy our stay except food and clothes. It was spacious, bright and nicely decorated. The two living rooms were a hit for our young and old. Large backyard and decks were awesome and being close to beach, shopping and eateries were a bonus. We look forward to returning!
