Carcoar is exactly the sort of refuge city dwellers need. The 140 year old house is idyllic in is environ. Full of original features and UK/Australiana monarchistic bric a brac, curios and objet d'art. The garden and pool are a delight.

Thanks Michal for your lovely review. We agree - it’s a pretty special spot to unwind and recharge. Glad you and your family were able to enjoy the garden and pool in Spring and have space for the kids to run around and explore the gardens.

The beds were warm and comfortable. Lighting was just okay. The garden was peaceful and the pool would be a great asset in Summer. Possibly not suitable for older people.
