Perfectly located at the gateway to Pokolbin, "Molly's on Mount View" is within easy walking distance to three cellar doors and only 3km from the centre of Cessnock making it convenient to shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and amenities of the town centre and surrounds. The house has been recently renovated and is ideally set up for families and small groups, having three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The living space is open plan with a well appointed kitchen, massive wrap around verandah providing a great place to relax over a wine and cheese or enjoy a BBQ with friends.

The house does have an adjoining 1 bedroom self-contained maisonette that is available to be booked separately. If booked by others the common areas will be shared and the amenity and comfort of other guests must be considered.

Beautiful home

We wanted a quick weekend escape from Sydney and this home was perfect for us. Decent sized bedrooms with bathrooms attached, lovely outdoor dining and sitting area. The fireplace was the highlight of our stay! Kelly is a very kind soul and made sure our stay was comfortable with breakfast items, fruit and pantry essentials. Will be back for sure!

Great property very central

Mollys was a great property with lots of extras - towels, toiletries, bread, milk, pancake mix, wine. Kelly met us on arrival to show us around the place which was super helpful. The outside area is great with pool table, fireplace and ping pong table. We had a group of 8 girls stay and they all loved it. The open plan living area was great for entertaining all of us at meal times etc. Also walking distance to 3 vineyards which is great!

Family holiday

We loved our stay at Molly’s, the house was spacious & comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped & the pantry & fridge contained all the basics you needed. Our favourite part of the house was the large back deck with pool table & fabulous outdoor fire. Kelly is a wonderful host, she welcomed us warmly & advised us of the many great places to visit in the area. Molly’s location is Fantastic, it is close to many wineries, town & other activities. Loved our holiday & we will be back!

Relaxed stay at Molly’s

We had a lovely weekend at Molly’s. The house was very clean with pleasant spaces. There was a large welcome package with essentials and a bottle of wine. The teenagers particularly enjoyed time on the veranda playing billiards and table tennis. There was a fire and heaters on the veranda too which would make it ideal for a winter break too. We will definitely go back.

Christmas stay

Our stay was great, and we didn't have to worry about anything. Kelly was so helpful and met us on arrival to show us the ropes. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms suited us perfectly (4 adults), with plenty of space indoors and out to give us all space. Being Christmas we even had our own Christmas tree, a lovely touch.Wish I could rate more than a 5, as Molly's was definitely worth more.Can't recommend highly enough

Best ever

We had a group of 3 couples for the weekend. We were met on arrival to be walked through the house and advised on local places and activities. Each couple had our own bedroom and bathroom, along with toiletries, lovely clean towels and linen matching or better than many hotels we have stayed in previously. The added bonus of simple touches like milk , bread, juice, pancake mix, fruit, chocolates and a bottle of local wine makes it so easy to just walk in and feel right at home. We had an amazing night out on the wide return verandah eating dinner, playing pool and table tennis. I would happily recommend this property and the host to anyone that asked and look forward to finding another reason to visit again soon.

Weekend getaway

Great location, very well appointed house - especially the kitchen which was stocked with so much food we didnt have to prepare anything ourselves !!! Wonderful quiet getaway for 4 girlfriends (3 bathrooms were essential) who wanted to just chill out.

Girls weekend

Molly's was a great house for our girls weekend away. Location was good with close proximity to the wineries, some within walking distance. The large balcony was perfect to enjoy the evening fire. We were all really happy with the comfortable beds and hot showers. There were lots of little extras to make a well-equipped kitchen. Would happily stay here again

Found the property & booked it. Thought it was 5 bedrooms & not 3 like we ended up with (not sure if that was my misunderstanding or something changed as there are 2 other rooms like a granny flat set up) so some of us had to share bedrooms (which was fine). Loved the location - walked to the winery. Only thing missing was there was no regular tea in the pantry!! We all had a great weekend stay! Thanks Kelly!

Amazing Hunter Valley Property!

We love Molly's on Mountview. Second stay for us and we will definitely be back again! I cannot rate Molly's highly enough. Kelly is a wonderful host and her home is very comfortable and beautifully appointed. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Hunter!

A place to relax and enjoy

My friends and I had a great time at Kelly's place during a weekend getaway. Mount View is just out of Pokolbin, with three wineries within walking distance, and some lovely scenery and walks. The super clean house has great amenities and a lot of little touches that made our experience even better, lovely comfortable beds and linen, great outdoor area with a pool table, to name a few. I would definitely stay there again!

The property was well located close to all wineries and Cessnock, The pantry was well stocked and Kelly the host greeted us on arrival and gave us the full run down of the property and wineries, Great place to stay as a group as it had three separate bedrooms and bathroom, would stay again.

Relaxing getaway with friends

The property itself was as described and the house was immaculate. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay was provided. My husband and I stayed in the Master bedroom with the ensuite. We loved our room and bathroom, no complaints from us and the bed was so comfortable that would love to know the make and brand of it. The other two bedrooms were very comfortable in the bedding and the overall rooms, however, both the bathroom showers were most unsatisfactory. Bedroom two had problems with the shower head not staying up and when showering they had their faces so close to the opposite wall that they hit the shelf and the water went everywhere. Bedroom three had the shower over the bath with a less than adequate shower screen. The shower head had the same problems as the Bedroom two, it would not stay up and they could not shower under it without completely flooding the bathroom floor. So in saying that, the couples that used those two bathrooms were not very happy at all.

The location was perfect, a nice quite spot but also there were 3 wineries only 10 minutes walk

The photos on the website don't do it justice. Everything was perfect and so clean. All the little extras added to a home away from home comfortable stay. Our host met us on arrival and explained where things were and how they worked and that if we had any problems at all to give her a call. Really great place to stay and we are already planning our next stay here.

A fantastic weekend away!

Molly's on Mountview is a truly outstanding property! Super comfortable, beautifully appointed and the hosts have really thought of everything to ensure their guests have a wonderful stay. Kelly greeted us on arrival and provided wine, bread, fruit, juice and all the little luxuries to make for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Kelly's home is absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be back! We would also highly recommend Saddlers Creek winery, which is a short walk from the house. Overall a fantastic weekend away!
