Step into one of Wickiup’s most unique stays.

Built in 1936, Stage Stop sits in the heart of the property—just a short walk to the community firepit and playground—making it a great choice for families and those who want to be close to it all.

This 4-person cabin features a private bedroom with a queen bed, plus a queen air mattress in the main cabin area for additional guests. Inside, you’ll find a kitchenette with stovetop, full-size fridge, and microwave, along with all basic cookware and dishes. The cabin also includes a private bathroom, gas fireplace for heat, Broadband WiFi, and all linens provided. Coffee maker, coffee, and filters are ready for easy mornings.

This is not a modern hotel—it’s a clean, comfortable, intentionally rustic cabin with real history and character.

Outside, enjoy your charcoal grill and easy access to shared gathering spaces.

Dogs are welcome (up to 2) with a $25/day fee/per dog. Please keep them leashed outdoors and kenneled if left unattended.

Best stay ever!

Cabin was super cute. Home away from home! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfy. I didn’t want to leave! I can’t wait to go back.

Wickiup - Village Cabin Camp- Stagecoach Cabin

Cute, cozy, comfortable, welcoming property. The Spearfish creek runs through the property. You cannot imagine how clean the water is until you see it for yourself. The sounds of the creek melt away any stress you brought with! Truly a one of a kind property with authentic rustic cabins from the 1930's & 1940's updated just enough for todays comfort expectations. Had a great time here. Thank you and hope to stay here again.

Cute little cabin

This cabin was the perfect launch spot for riding the black hills. The staff was super friendly and helpful! It was a no frills cabin but we were very comfortable there.
