Nice Little Cottage
Perfectly fine little cottage that met our needs. Only a few complaints, none of which would stop us from renting again. The kitchen windows have no curtains or blinds, the lock box on the door to get access was very difficult to open, and the shower had very little water pressure.
This was a nice clean place to stay instead of a hotel, it was convenient for us to move around to Different areas to visit for fall colors, Biltmore Estates, Apple festival in Lincolnton to blowing rock and Boone
This home was the perfect spot for a weekend event in Lenoir. It’s convenient to so many things. We loved seeing the mountains out of the kitchen.
Home is clean and nicely furnished. We plan to come back next year.
The home was super clean, owners Jim & Dawn were accommodating and friendly. Home is in a quiet neighborhood on a spacious corner lot that allows for privacy Interior is very comfortable with modern appliances and great central AC.
We would definitely stay again. We had no complaints at all.
Nice house. The decorative towels and plates are pretty but.not functional for a rental. Maybe add a towel rack for the towels the guests are allowed to use, Towel rack for the damp towels. The decorative dishes on dining room table are dusty. Very pretty though. Nice house Nice location
It was a comfortable stay, very convenient location, reasonable price. The hosts were outstanding. I ran into personal problems and they worked with me above and beyond any obligation. This is a great stay!
This home was absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. Felt just like home when I first arrived! We will most definitely come back.

Pleasant stay for short trip
The home appeared to be newly renovated, clean and welcoming. We were only there to sleep and gone during the day. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and appliances. The optional wine purchase was a plus.
I gave this stay 4 stars due to the back corner bedroom situation. If you stayed in this room, you had to disturb one of the other rooms to exit to the living room, kitchen, and one bathroom. This wasn’t an issue for us since a mother stayed in one room and her adult son stayed in the other so they didn’t disturb us in our room. Otherwise, great home for a quick stay in close to the Lenoir area.
House was neat and clean. Plenty of accessories stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. One con was getting to bathroom from back bedroom. You have to go through one of the other bedrooms to get to bathroom and kitchen.
This stay was easy and just what we needed! Great location for mountain adventures. The hosts made the home very welcoming and easy to navigate! Our only issue was bedroom access for a group of adults was tricky as the bedrooms all connect and the center room must go through one of the others to enter/access.
We loved the porch and enjoyed sitting out there with our morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again!
We rented this home for a couple days GPS took me to the house across, until we realized it. The home was as shown on the pictures we were very happy. We where out with family most of the time but getting to rest in this cozy home was amazing.
We had a wonderful stay. It was the perfect little home for my family and my sisters family to stay while we were in town for a wedding. It was very clean and everything felt homey.
We were in town for a memorial and wanted a relaxing home. This cottage was perfect for our stay! Owners were extremely nice- wish we could’ve visited their vineyard... maybe next time!
Had a great view of the mountains from a distance. Good access to turning of leaves. Close to nearby grocery stores as needed. 20 minute drive into Hickory; 30 minutes into Blowing Rock/ Boone.
The owners also operate a vineyard and winery, with bottles available for purchase on the property (in the kitchen). Perfect for a personal getaway.
Overall, great experience. Will want to come back
My wife and I went to NC to explore the area as a potential retirement location. The property was in close proximity to Lakes Rhodhiss and Hickory which made lakefront property hunting easier. The property was close to food shopping, pharmacy, etc., yet was in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay, the cottage was clean, which is very important to us, the bed was very comfortable, the nights were quiet and internet service was seamless. We have been to multiple states in our search for lakefront property and would happily stay at this cottage again if and when we come back - we did like the area and it is on our short list. We were very happy with our stay at this location.
We were impressed with the property. It was clean and homey. The owner made sure to think of everything to make our stay great! We would recommend staying here.
