Country Getaway at Crystal Creek - Sleeps 9

Lush property with 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, potbelly fire, running creek and animals.
Our beautiful property in Upper Crystal Creek is a true country getaway. Located 15 mins out of Murwillambah and 1h 45 from Brisbane, the 30 acres is lush and green and makes you feel relaxed the minute you drive in. The house is freshly painted throughout and has everything you'll need for a comfy stay. It sleeps 9 people comfortably.

We have smart tv’s and Wifi for added convenience plus the house is fully air-conditioned.

There is an outdoor fire pit sitting area which is beautiful throughout the whole day.
There are soccer goals and trampoline.

The main room has a very comfortable king bed. It is attached to the bathroom which has a shower and a bath tub.
Bedroom 2 has a single bed and a king single
Bedroom 3 has another king single.
Bedroom 4 Upstairs has a queen bed and a king single trundle.

The kitchen and living area is open with a potbelly fire place in the corner. We always have plenty of wood so you can burn a fire all year round.
Upstairs is a kids area with a Tv and another queen size bed.

The creek is always flowing and is a beautiful spot to sit and take some time out. We have sheep, cows, alpaca and a gorgeous and very friendly Donkey named Thor who loves cuddles and company.

There is a beautiful cafe, nursery and gift shop on the property that does a great breakfast or lunch, coffee cakes and milkshakes.

There is a golf buddy available to hire for an additional charge.
There is a huge picnic table down by the creek.

We have beautiful caretakers Richard and Carol that are around and available if you need anything. They keep to themselves in their own residence and you won’t even know they are there. They will take the kids to feed the animals. They can also manage and facilitate rides on a small quad bike on request.

We have bought the adjoining property that we are now renting out a 4 bedroom house which sleeps 8. Please enquire for info and pics as I'm still setting up the page for it.

We have had the property since December 2017 and bit by bit we have been doing improvements on the house. Our 3 boys and 1 girl who roam freely and explore for hours on end when we visit. We are so blessed to be able to get out of the city and off technology to come and cleanse our minds with this place.

We don't allow pets sorry.

A beautiful hideaway

This is such a peaceful place to spend some time away. Close to Murwillumbah. Not too far to drive up into the amazing QLD rainforrst at springbrook. And then right in your backyard crystal creek!

A well maintained and equipped property in a peaceful location only 15 min drive from Murwillumbah. Lots for the children to do - large spaces to run around, swimming in the creek, soccer goal nets available, buggy rides and farm animals to 'talk'to. Multiple areas for adults to relax.

Small Paradise.

We stayed eight days with three adults and four children plenty of room and has lots of activities such as swimming in the river, golf cart to travel around the farm and animals to feed lovely care takers that will help you with absolutely anything while giving you the privacy you need. i will ge back!

Great Family Getaway

Thanks for a wonderful stay. The property has heaps to keep the kids occupied with animals to feed, creek to explore, trampoline and plenty of space to run around. The fire pit was a highlight of our evenings and the house itself is very comfortable and warm. Kitchen is well set up for cooking and there is a well lit BBQ area. Plenty of things to see and do in the local area. We enjoyed lunch at the Crystal creek Nursery and took a drive down to the chillingham markets. We would love to return in summer for a swim in the creek!

Simply Fabulous

Fun fun fun And comfortable stay We could only stay 4 nights and had to spend some days away from the property which was a shame because if (and when) we return I would stay put for the duration So much to do for the kids and adults alike Being outside 90% of the time and active. Wonderful stuff The adults particularly loved the soccer field, creek, picnic table and fire pit by the river for drinks on sunset The kids loved absolutely everything… especially the cows, soccer field, golf buggy and table tennis table. We are grateful for the opportunity.

What a magical place!

I stayed with my family at this property (3 children aged 3,7,7) and it was incredible! We all had the best time. The kids had so much to do.. see and feed animals, play, swim, fish in the gorgeous creek, we hired a golf cart which the kids loved!, the swing, trampoline, soccer net etc were incredible! It was the perfect time away from the city. The house was so well equiped- nice towels/sheets and everything that we needed! Having proper filtered water was such a great touch too. Ken the caretaker was wonderful! He let the kids help with feeding the animals and made sure everything was all good for us. Such a great guy! We are already talking about when we can visit again as this place was truly a relaxing magical escape we all loved. Thank you

We had an amazing time!!! Ken and Trish were fabulous. The place was clean, the kitchen was spotless and the bedroom's were so comfortable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay here. And we can wait to go back. Its going to be our second home.

Our 5th time staying at the farm and love it. Awesome in winter and summer. The property grounds are so beautiful and loved sitting by the fire in the afternoons whilst the kids visited the animals and kicked the footy. The caretakers were great showing our boys how to feed the animals. We will be back.

Beautiful location and farmhouse

Loved swimming in the creek, hearing the sounds of water and seeing stars at night, amazing facilities and setup of the house. Slept nine of us comfortably. This is a great relaxed place to go.
