The kitchen was amazing, it has everything you could ever need to cook a light breakfast to a gourmet meal for a small group, and no need to bring the staples, this place has it all
Great house with everything you need for your stay. Close enough to shops to be convenient yet remote enough to relax and enjoy the farm experience. Love the animals - great fun for the kids.
Wonderful house for an extended family getaway. The kids, young and old, loved the animals. The table tennis was an added bonus. Everything was thought of - from condiments to coffee machines to the tent in the children’s room. We wish we’d stayed longer.
This is truly a holiday HOME. Thank you Julie for all the details and attentions to the accommodation that makes our stay so enjoyable and memorable. The farm stay is a beautiful place that has everything you need. The property is clean and well maintained. We particular enjoyed the company of the animals, the kitchen, the verandas and the fire pit. We will be back again.
Beautiful location. Property is done up fantastic. Kids had a great time, plenty of yard space and they enjoyed feeding the animals. Will book again for another family weekend.
From dealing with the property manager to staying there it was just a pleasure, the best AirB&B to date, the house is just perfect and very generous on inclusions, we loved it and so did the kids feeding horses and cows.
Highly recommend this home.
My family gathered at Julies incredible farm over the weekend. Without exception it was the best place we have ever stayed. The attention to detail, together with absolutely anything you could wish for, was provided for our stay. The location is perfect, along with the adorable farm animals. It was a privilege to stay at this incredible farm, we hope we can return again.
This is a beautiful house, possibly the most beautiful rural holiday house I have ever stayed. It has everything you can possibly ask for, you will be surprise how thoughtful Julie (the owner) is, and how much things you can do and enjoy when staying there. We will definitely come back for another holiday soon.
Amazing will definitely go back. There was everything you needed plus plus. This place was exceptional with everything required. Attention to detail was so present. Hosts amazing with excellent communication we will be back.
The location was perfect for our extended family celebration. The house was so well equipped with large areas where we could all spend time together. The views were beautiful and our grandkids loved patting and feeding the animals and haing their own kids' zone. We were close to shops, but also to national parks and other scenic spots. Julie was a wonderful hostess. All in all, a top spot
We had a wonderful two night stay at North Arm. The property was immaculately presented and the perfect location to get away from the hustle and bustle with friends. The kids loved the opportunity to interact with the animals but all said the 'Kidszone' in the attic was their favourite thing. It was great to have the kids entertained while the adults enjoyed the fireplace and open plan living space. Highly recommend a visit. We hope to be back next year!
We were a group of 9 who booked 'North Arm' for a milestone birthday. The kids loved the cow, the alpacas, free range chooks, cattle and beautiful farm to explore. the adults loved the stunning, clean beautifully appointed home and huge deck. We were not far from Murwillumbah and surrounds. The kitchen was incredibly well appointed & generously stocked. Wonderful welcome & information provided. Cannot thank Julie & Andrew enough! x
An older farm house supurbly done up on 60 plus acres. House is beyond amazing, with the best of everything. The grounds are lovingly cared for and well maintained. All the regular things you expect from a farm, chickens and egg collecting, a cow to feed, a couple of ponies and a mini herd of alpaca. A vegy patch with herbs etc for picking for dinner, a dam walking distance with ducks but far enough away surrounded by a couple of fences to be safe and if your fit a bee hive up on the hill. Activities for the kids to keep them entertained includes a massive trampoline
This amazing house has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic getaway.
Beautiful, scenic dining options, gorgeous bathrooms & luxurious linens & furnishings. The kitchen is to die for as well as a butlers pantry with all the mod cons.
The whole outlook is truly amazing & the farm animals just add to the country feel.
There is nothing you could want for, there's even a back up wine selection in case of emergencies, not to mention the Riedel glasses for the wine enthusiasts. Boys aren't forgotten with access to every channel you could imagine for the football, horse racing etc.
No expense has been spared, well done Julie & Andrew, we loved it.
We booked 'On the Farm' at North Arm farm Stay for 3 nights to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. We could not have chosen a better property and location. The long lunch on the back deck with the scenic country vista was perfect. The extra large kitchen (and butlers pantry) had absolutely everything we needed. The large dining room with double sided fireplace was also well used once the sun went down and the temperature dropped. Our family and friends could not stop commenting on how beautiful the house was. There were so many wonderful aesthetics both inside with the decor and outside the house with the gardens and views. Julie certainly knows how to make it feel like a home and not just a holiday rental and has thought of all the comforts to make it luxurious and relaxing all at the same time. Even though we didn't have small children the adults still enjoyed feeding the local farm animals and collecting the freshly laid eggs. We would highly recommend this property and would love to come back again.
On The Farm - A Picture Postcard of Australian Country
If you are looking for an idillic getaway which captures all the great things about Australian country life, this is it. Of course being surrounded by all the creature comforts you can imagine may not be typical of your Aussie farm - but who’s complaining. The original 100-year old home is totally charming. It flows into a soaring open living space with a killer kitchen, open fire and huge formal dining room and sensational wine cellar. There are three dining options; apart from the formal area there is a casual breakfast spot as well as a huge under cover outdoor dining table set on the expansive deck.
The farmland is almost too pretty to believe. Yes, a picture postcard of fenced paddocks complete with well behave Shetland Ponies, cow, alpacas and of course chickens which provide morning breakfast supplies. A rustic tractor is located strategically as part of the vista and serves as a “pal” to the cow who spends a lot of time by its side.
The sleeping accommodation is ideal for 3 couples plus a few kids with plenty of luxurious bathrooms and fluffy towels.
Julie and Andrew are charming, helpful hosts who clearly want your stay to be memorable. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful property.
A beautiful, well appointed home. Renovated and furnished to a very high standard whilst maintaining the warm, welcoming charm of a farm house. The hosts Julie and Andrew were accomodating, friendly and helpful. Our kids loved feeding the animals and collecting eggs. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
We absolutely loved this house and the property - its everything and more than you see in the pictures. The Host, Julie, was also amazing and very responsive to our changing needs due to Covid related lockdowns. We would definitely go back!
