Clean comfortable cozy period house with securely fenced back yard for the dogs. Lovely extra touches, especially breakfast items and spa bath, made for a very memorable stay. Short drive into Castlemaine.

Honestly, a delight. My wife and I spent a week at Henrietta’s Country House and it was one of the nicer short-term stay experiences we’ve had in a while. The home is clean and well appointed and in a great location close to Castlemaine, and thoughtfulness is apparent at every turn. It is very comfortable and we’d stay there again without hesitation.

The photos don't do justice to the beauty and comfort of this house. The details on the decor are fascinating and stunning. Historical elegance but also modern luxury. The back yard is amazing. I could not stop thinking of this place after we left. And my dog had so much fun

A lovely place to stay for a getaway with our furbabies

Relaxing stay.

Second time at Henriettas. Love the decir, the area, how clean the house is and that it is so dog friendly.Very well set up with everything we needed including ample breakfast provisions.

Brilliant presentation by Kerri at Henrietta's for our special Anniversary!. Everything is so close to the location and hard to beat in so many ways. We arrived to a super warm house with 🔥🍷fires on and the spa sooo tempting 😄✔️

Henrietta's is 100% recommended.

The house is gorgeous. The host has created a real homage to its history, but blended with modern comfort. If you're visiting as a tourist to The Goldfields, you'll find it perfectly situated. We found that our host had thought of everything we could possibly need and responded swiftly to any queries.

Gorgeous cosy comfy cottage

Henrietta’s is a gorgeous cosy comfy cottage with everything you could possibly want/need for your stay. It was scrupulously clean and stocked with lots of lovely touches like breakfast foods, chocolates by the beds, lovely bathroom products, books and games, the list goes on. Very comfy beds with electric blankets if it’s a chilly night. Our host, Kerri, was a pleasure to deal with. We’ll definitely be back.

Chillin in Chewton

Spacious period home with modern kitchen and bathroom. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Super comfy beds. Good WiFi. Great to sit on the front balcony or at rear of property. Only a few minutes from Castlemaine, and around half hour to Daylesford and Bendigo. Property located opposite bush land with walking trails.Very peaceful stay.

County Bliss

Very much enjoyed our stay. Had everything you could need and more including generous breakfast provisions. We were lucky with the weather so out furbabies could enjoy the wonderful garden with us as we sat outside and relaxed. The place has a secure fencing and the dogs were very safe there. The RedHill pub has new management so really enjoyed out dinner there and I would also recommend the Midland Bar restaurant if you want something more upmarket. A very nejoyable stay!

Old style home with modern appliances'

The home had all that you would need to have to arrive at any time. There was milk, butter, juice, bread, coffee, and tea. Plus all the items you would expect to find in your own home.
