Sitting behind the scenic banks of the Patawalonga River, and just a 5 minute walk to the beach, Sea Blue Retreat is a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom ground floor apartment in Glenelg North. It has a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (one queen and two single beds, sleeping up to 4 persons) and a private sunny garden. The laundry is coin operated and also has clothes lines for use.
Free wifi and Netflix and close to public transport, the airport, family-friendly activities, and the Glenelg nightlife. This apartment is single story, has no steps and is in a quiet, safe and secure location.

The Adelaide Metro buses leave from the stop in Moseley Street at the end of the Street. The Adelaide CBD is approx. 11.5kms away and the Airport is just 3km away.
Easy access via tram to Adelaide Oval, Entertainment Centre and Morphettville Racecourse.

Sea blue retreat

This is a lovely property with easy access to shops, Glenelg, beach, tram and airport. Even without a car we quickly got to shops, beach and tram took us near the Zoo, we definitely would stay here again and with closed courtyard, good for little kids as well

A little diamond

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Blue Retreat. It's location was in an ideal area for both access to our family members and Jetty Road, Brighton Beach, Hallet Cave and everywhere in-between. There was a couple of things that would have been useful, one being a couple of larger pans and a washing line in the patio area, This was our third visit to Adelaide and the Sea Blue Retreat was by far our favourite place to stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Sea Blue Retreat to anyone wanting a centrally located holiday let in Adelaide Dawne & Malcolm Tattersall

The unit was perfect for a 7 night stay. A short walk to the main street of Glenelg and shops, which was ideal to pick up last minute groceries or enjoy an ice cream or two or go to the movies. And Dan Murphy's was at the end of the street. Be mindful that supermarkets close by 5pm. The unit itself was clean. The bed in the master bedroom was way too soft and may need replacing. Kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery however the rangehood may need a good clean. Access to the unit was perfect through the back gate, with parking relatively close. Staying in an apartment building, be prepared with the neighbours accessing the laundry facilities right next door (the door was so squeaky). Perhaps installing a clothes line in the patio area would be great, especially to hang up towels amd bathers when returning from a day at the beach.Overall, we had a lovely time exploring Glenelg, the wineries in McLaren Vale and the Barossa and surrounding areas.

Second stay at Sea Blue

This convenient apartment suits us perfectly! Walk to everywhere - beach, coffee, tram, shops. It’s easy to live in - we have stayed 3 to 4 weeks each time. With its own access, large courtyard with gate to the shared lawn, it’s unique in the block. There’s a great shower, good beds and simple kitchen. We recommend for an uncomplicated, cruisy stay.

Tracy was super good once we added a 1 to her relephone number which was missing off the app.

The apartment is fantastic with little extras like shampoo conditioner shower gel absolutely felt like home.There is a child upstairs who bangs around upstairs but kids will be kids.

Good and comfortable stay

The Apartment is clean, tidy and at a great location. We enjoyed the stay. Tracy got new water kettle as soon as i told her it was broken. She was very responsive to all my questions. Only thing was the shower area needed a longer curtain. It got messy after taking a shower. I would like to return back to this place

Cosy but noisy.

Great apartment in a good location, close to the shops and beach. The little out door terrace was nice to sit in during the mornings. Has everything you need for your stay apart from the washing appliances being communal and having to pay to use them (with coins) I did unfortunately suffer terribly from the upstairs neighbours being inconsiderate with their noise levels late at night and early in the mornings. I understand this doesnt completely reflect on the apartment itself but it did make a very big impact on my overall satisfaction of the stay with being kept up by yelling and screaming until the early hours of the morning on nearly every night.

Beautiful Glenelg

Property was easy to find and access instructions were simple. Great to have onsite, undercover parking in the winter in Adelaide, weather was not great. A little maintenance is required especially to the bathroom where the towel rail was unuseable. Hard to air off bathtowels. Shower curtain needs to be replaced with one that will reach the floor as water spills over onto the bathroom floor making it very slippery. Having said that, we were extremely cosy and felt comfortable enough to extend our stay for another week.Would love to come back in summer to make use of the outside courtyard.

Apartment is spacious enough for 2 people. Kitchen is moderately well equiped. Location was very good with 10 minute walk to beach and restaurants. Cleanliness is satisfactory except for drawers, vents, baseboards, ceilings..The problem is about listed amenities: these WERE NOT EXACT. There was NOT a bbq grill as listed or as in photo. (That was important to us as we only rent places with a grill.) There were no beach chairs. Washer was a coin washer for all tenants-this was not said in description. Some of this info was changed on vrbo site after contacting host. We feel host was not straightforward with information on rental unit. We did hear daily the children/baby/family over us and although this did not bother us too much, potential renters should be aware of this fact.

Everyone needs a little re - treat

The property is very well situated, clean and comfortable. It is exactly as advertised, an awesome place to spend some time away - while still being where it all happens. My family really enjoyed their time here.

Sea Blue Retreat was a lovely apartment with lots of homey touches to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The apartment is in a great location - quiet and easy walking to the marina, beach, shops and historic buildings. We would love to visit again.

My husband and daughter stayed here to be closer to the swimming championships in Marion. It was a very hot week and the air conditioning worked well under these conditions. The only negatives were that there was no washing machine in the room and only a tiny bin for rubbish which was already full when they arrived. Also the wifi didn’t work. Positives were the undercover parking, comfy beds and location.

Great property for a short stay!

Property was very neat and today and had everything we needed. There were some nice touches such as soap/shampoo in the shower and tea bags/small snacks. Easy to arrange key and really enjoyed our stay.
