SURFSIDE LODGE ON THE BEACH
Note: 3 Night minimum

Beautifully located opposite the beach at Cape Bridgewater with panoramic views of the ocean and capes. The beach offers excellent swimming, fishing, surfing and long scenic walks. Portland Surf Lifesaving club patrol the swimming beach during weekends and public holidays. Launching of boats with 4 WD vehicles off the beach is possible, subject to weather and beach conditions. Historic Portland city is 18 kms away.
The Lodge is about 200 metres from the popular award winning cafe/coffee kiosk. Popular with locals and visitors alike.
Seals by the Sea tours operate in this bay; bookings are recommended.
The 3 bedroom home provides a bathroom plus separate shower room and 2 separate toilets. Amenities include 2 split system air conditioners, ceiling fan, electric cooking , microwave, large 2 door fridge plus a drink fridge.
The timber lined lounge includes large TV, DVD player, wood heater and air con, library of books and dvds.

Stunning views from main living areas also make it easy to oversee the family on the beach.

Bed configuration: two bedrooms each have a queen bed and third has two singles plus double bunk.

The sunny north facing back yard is secure and protected, providing room for two or three cars or even a boat.
The single garage has power and houses firewood and a few beach toys for guests use. There is a Weber Q bbq, outdoor furniture and separate wood shed
Surfside Lodge will provide a peaceful and memorable holiday break for couples and families

You can't beat this location! Stunning views of a beautiful bay and only 300 metres from an award-winning cafe. The home is old but comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Getting into the house was easy. Some additional communication would have been nice to let us know the power would be out, which meant we had to look for the fuse box, and the fridge wasn't cold for our groceries. As well as the mouse infestation, which meant there was faeces on the benches, in cupboards and pots, and on one bed.

The Stayz site was not easy to navigate in some aspects. The house was warm, very clean and generously appointed. The proximity to the beach , walks and kiosk was perfect.

Wonderful winter getaway

Thank you to Neville and Julie for letting us stay at their wonderful holiday house. The location could not be beaten and the house was clean, cozy and spacious. My family and I had a marvellous time exploring Cape Bridgewater and its surroundings over the week with the kids even befriending an inquisitive juvenille seal. We definitely hope to return in the future.

What a fabulous huge house and right opposite the awesome beach. We had a terrific 2 days. Extremely comfortable beds, good shower, it was just great. Sad we missed the echidna in the back garden, Neville sent me a photo after we left. We would definitely love to stay to there again.

A relaxing stay with amazing views of Bridgewater Beach!

Check in in was so simple and quick and it was no time before we were in and getting settled. The house was comfortable and was soon warm. We enjoyed the closeness to Portland and most importantly the beach right outside our windows. It was wintery weather but this didn't matter. We had a lovely holiday enjoying our time in this comfortable house.

Great location

Great situation next to beautiful beach and Great Western walking track. House spacious, well equipped and warm. Decor dated but everything works- although the shower needs some attention. Good heating with additional wood fire heater- small amount of wood provided. All in all very comfortable, with the location being the main draw card.

Stunning location - awesome facilities

Orientation of house allowed for stunning views from kitchen, dining and lounge! Slow combustion heater in lounge was fabulous to have, so relaxing to read in front of the fire while watching the waves lapping on the sand!! It was a lovely surprise to find a Weber bbq in the garage and the fabulous collection of wetsuits and boogy boards / surfboards will ensure we will come back with our grown up children in the near future!! All this within walking distance to the cafe makes for the perfect holiday house!
