The Lakehouse Beechworth- Absolute Lake Frontage


This exceptional property is possibly the best Beechworth has to offer. A gorgeous holiday rental for larger groups, this renovation and major addition was designed with holiday makers in mind.

With quality fittings and appliances. the property has 4 bedrooms (King bed with ensuite, 2 x Queen Rooms and 1 Double bed). 2 additional beds can be made available for children on request.

There are 2 TV/ living areas - perfect for putting the kids in their own space to watch Netflix.

Kayaks and hand lines for fishing are available for use as well as noodles to float in the lake on.

Its about a 10 min walk into town (around 1km), but once you get to the lake house you wont want to leave!

Watch the sunset over the Chinese gardens while you enjoy a glass of wine. The house is beautifully quiet and you can hear the wonderful birdlife as you enjoy that spectacular view over the lake.

A very special place to unravel with family and friends. Min 3 nights on public holidays. 4 nights over Easter and Christmas.

Great house and amazing location

Spent the long weekend with family and had a great time. Kids enjoyed kayaking on the lake. House has everything you need and more (what a view)! Only a short walk into town. Would definitely come back when visiting Beechworth. Highly recommended.

Stunning house with lovely view

We walked in and cheered. The house is beautiful, absolutely lovely and totally comfortable with functional furniture, comfy couches and plenty of space. The balcony overlooks a beautiful lake view. There’s also a big tree lined outdoor yard to relax in.

The house is beautiful and well thought out with everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Had all you need for the perfect stay. Extra blankets, cutlery, kitchen needs(tea, coffee) board games, access to wifi, streaming services and even the fire place was set and ready to lite. Can't fault this place. Amazing view of the Lake and such a convenient location. I would say one of the best places we've ever stayed. Great customer service and lovely neighbours too. I've already recommended this place to other families and would stay again as we have friends who live locally.

Super Comfortable

We absolutely loved this stay. We paddle boarded on the lake with our friends and kids (6yrs 9yrs) bit of a steep decline down to the lake but was doable. House was super comfortable with everything you would need for an easy weekend. Kids and adult board games and activities were a great add and we loved them also. Walking distance to town also. We will be back!

Such a Gem of a place, so peacfull, easy walking distance to town either by road or the walking track down thr hill .plenty of space and comfy beds. Nothing was a fuss when checking in. Beautiful.

Idyllic house on the lake

This was the most beautiful house for 6 of us to stay. Beautiful views over the lake, easy walk in to town, lovely wood fire and fabulous kitchen stocked with everything to make cooking at home easy. The house was actually more beautiful than the photos indicate. Karen is a wonderful host who was easy to get in touch with at all times, thankyou for a perfect stay!

Shhh. Don’t share the secret, but this is the best accomm ever. Karen is an incredibly generous host. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and cosy for a home away from home. & has everything you will need for your stay. Located right on the lake yet walking distance to town, it’s a fabulous and peaceful location. We bought fishing rods, my teens enjoyed fishing and kayaking. Lots to do around Beechworth or chill on the deck & do absolutely nothing at all. Thank you - hope to be back very soon.

Lovely weekend away in beautiful home

Extended family used the house for a winter weekend away. The property is beautiful and the house well-stocked and warm on what were pretty miserable days of weather. Comfortably fit seven adults in the living area and around the kitchen table. Would happily stay at this property against. A lovely stay in Beechworth

We stayed at this lovely property in Beechworth and were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and comfortable it was. The style was tasteful and made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a nice touch and kept us warm on chilly nights. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, and we enjoyed cooking meals together. The location was great, and we were able to explore the town with ease. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We all loved your property Karen, many thanks. Only issue of note was that we had hoped some basic breakfast provisions would be provided eg bread, eggs etc. Details about this were not evident from the online listing but have typically been a feature of similar properties we have used in the area an elsewhere.
