With 8 adults and 8 children including 2 babies’ we had enough room for the children to play and the quiet for the babies to sleep. Also for the adults to talk and keep an eye on the children. The kitchen had everything we needed to serve meals and there was enough showers and toilets.Outside there was grass playing area and a tennis court so there was plenty of facilities to keep everyone happy.We had a wonderful time and would be happy to stay again.Thank you Christine.

We had a wonderful extended family weekend at the Gatehouse in Beechworth. We had nine adults and seven children ranging from 1 - 14 years old. The house easily accommodated us all. Bedrooms were very comfortable and clean, water was nice and hot in the showers. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need. We easily parked six cars. Beechworth is such a lovely town and the Gatehouse is a great way to enjoy it. Thank you.

What a wonderful accomodation! The host could not have been more helpful and everything is considered to ensure your stay is comfortable. We hosted a family camp at The Gatehouse and would highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Beechworth. The accommodation is a short stroll into town and there is so much to do and see.

A great property for a big group

My family of adult children plus my elderly parents stayed at the Gatehouse over the Easter long weekend and had a great time. Having 6 large bedrooms was perfect for a big group and Christine was excellent to deal with.

Christine was a fantastic host who was super responsive and couldn’t be helpful enough. The property was excellent for a large family group (including several pets), with lots of character. The bedrooms and facilities were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great, close to town and Sambell Lake, all easily within walking distance.

Amazing property for large (or multiple) families. We didnt take animals. But is a great property to take one with enclosed area out the back. Highly reccomend. Christine is easy to contact if you need anything. But you wont. Its all sorted out before you get there.

We had a wonderful stay at The Gate House! From the moment we booked, the host was fantastic with communication—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful, which made everything smooth and stress-free.The property itself was exactly as described and even better in person. It was spotlessly clean, well presented, and clearly very well looked after. Everything we needed was there, and it felt comfortable and welcoming throughout our stay.You can tell the host really cares about making sure guests have a great experience. We truly enjoyed our time here, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and well-maintained place to stay, and we’re already planning to book again soon!

Wonderful venue for a larger group!

The property was well set up for a larger group (there were 16 of us). Great location, reasonable cost, easy to find and park and excellent communication from the host. We would certainly stay at the Gatehouse again!

Great place for the family

The property was great for our family of 8 adults & 7 kids. The early check in & late check out was very much appreciated. The location was close to town & other attractions. We all enjoyed our weekend.
