The Perfect Luxury Hideaway

Enjoy beautiful mountain and river views from our relaxing property.
We have just started offering our house after three years with great success of private luxury rentals.
Located just outside Hveragerði on the southern region, a small town 30 minutes away from Reykjavik and close to the Golden Circle. Hveragerði has a grocery store, wine store, some wonderful swimming pools and many great hiking trails.
Our luxurious home and calm environment leaves you with the feeling of complete serenity.
Perfect for large families or friends getting together. Our property includes a main house and guest house sleeping 12 in total, fully equipped with high speed WiFi, SONOS Sound System, Apple TV and Netflix.

Outstanding location with beautiful views overlooking a tranquil river in back. Our host, Kristin, was fantastic. She responded to every inquiry within a short period of time and answered every question in detail. The house was well equipped and was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 children.

It was a perfect place to jump off of for activities on the South Coast, Reykjanes Peninsula, Golden Circle, Vik, Reykjavik and Keflavik. It was a roomy and comfortable home. The kitchen is a bit small for multiple people to be cooking at the same time, but that wasn't a problem.

Wonderful property!

Our group of 11 had a great time at this property. We saw the northern lights from the jacuzzi that we enjoyed nightly. The food and people in town were lovely. I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Location

Couples getaway

We had an excellent stay in Hveragerdi in Kristin's lovely quiet home on the river Varma. There were many indoor and outdoor options for us, lots of space for 4 couples and the how tub by the river was perfect! The village and trails are minutes away on foot and it's a quiet beautiful location!

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. It was a great size for our party. The beds were extremely comfortable. Awesome house in a cute town

Our group of 11 stayed at this house for a week and had an amazing time. We had plenty of space to spread out in the house and the hot tub on the river was a great way to cap off our days of adventuring. The house is within walking distance to town and it is also in a good location to explore Golden Circle, South Coast, and Reykjavik.

Wonderful Christmas Getaway

We rented the house as a Christmas getaway for 8 adults to relax and hopefully see the northern lights. No luck on the northern lights but the host, house, and location were all perfect! The hot tub on the river and the wood burning fireplace were winter highlights for us with the house. We also appreciated the proximity to the nearby geothermal area. We would definitely stay again!

Our First Trip to Iceland

The property is located in the picturesque, quaint town of Hveragerdi, far enough from Reykjavik to feel a sense of remoteness but close enough to make day trips to the city. It was clean and very much as advertised. We made great use of the hot tub. I would highly recommend this property.

This is a spacious property. With good bedrooms and common spaces. The location is beautiful and house is well situated. Lovely views of river and mountains. The home is well laid out. We are a party of 11 but never felt on top of each other. Plenty of room for relaxing around the kitchen table or on the back porch. Beautify and comfort all around. Great neighborhood.

This property was perfect! The hot tub experience next to the river was very unique and the highlight of this house. The house was very clean and had all the amenities that would be needed. There was more than enough space for everyone! Very nicely furnished. Loved the heated floor and towel rack in the master bath. It was a great location for seeing the Golden Circle. We spent a day hiking Reykjdalur hot spring thermal river and another day on a hike of the Solheimajokull Glacier. Both were the highlights of our trip. I would love to return and spend more time in this serene home and town.
