About this property

Cottage on the lake! Includes kayaks & rowboat. Relax and listen to the loons!

Super cozy, beautiful cottage right on the lake. Enjoy the rowboat, kayaks or bring your own boat to tie up to the dock. (Boat ramp only 4 houses away.) Plenty to do (or just come and relax). Yard: swimming, multiple seating, walk the dirt roads, coffee on the porch. Inside: puzzles, coloring books, games, dvds and books. Enjoy meals outside or on the screen porch, have s’mores at the fire pit, enjoy a cup of coffee and a book on the deck! We are on Antique Ally! Plenty of State Parks nearby (one is only 2 miles away), Chucksters (mini golf, aerial courses, etc), visit Concord, Portsmouth or the lakes region! Plenty to do or just enjoy lake life!
Yard is fenced in with gates to the water and to the driveway. Check in afternoon 5:00 pm (self check in) and check our after 3:00 pm.
Beautiful nature on the lake includes an eagle, heron, loons, ducks, fish, frogs, etc...
2 bedrooms each have a double bed. Sleeps 4 or 5 if using the air mattress. Cottage size bathroom.
NO parties or events.
If having local family/friends over guests can not exceed more then 4 for the day, thank you.
Sorry, no pets

*NH lakes at times can test for high levels of bacteria, this doesn’t happen often but at times it does. Unfortunately, it is a circumstance that is out of our control. If this happens, we know you will still enjoy our amazing cottage and boating.

Lovey cabin

We loved staying in this cozy cabin! The yard was a huge win. The only downside - signs all over the cottage instructing guests not to drink/cook with the tap water because of a drought. It would have been helpful to know in advance (we would have brought bottled water and skipped buying groceries to cook!) Other than that, the cottage exceeded expectations. It was clean and comfortable, with a wide selection of dvds and games, plus lots of outdoor furniture in the yard. We squeezed a pack and play into the larger bedroom and our toddler did great.

So happy you enjoyed your stay! We are sorry for the inconvenience of the water, we do provide the two gallons to get people started. We are putting a new drilled (deep) well in at the end of the season, so this will help if we have another drought in the future. We are happy everything else was to your liking. Peaceful Location

It was a very nice experience. Check in and out were very easy and the property owner was very helpful with any questions we had. The one small issue we did have (which was through no fault of the owners) - the fire pit was not working properly - was fixed immediately. It is a peaceful area and location and we had everything we needed.

We are thrilled to own this property and to be able to share it with our guests. We live a few doors down and also rent out another cottage a few doors down. (#4985722) We grew up going to cottages and love the easy living of vacationing in one. We want others to enjoy this experience and make memories, so we try to price our cottages to be affordable for everyone. We both work (I am a teacher and my husband is Grounds and Facilities Manager. I am usually home by 4:00 during the school year and around all the time in the summer, if our guests need anything.

Why they chose this property

This home has the old cottage feel and is right on the water, with a beautiful yard that is completely fenced in. Enjoy all of the sitting areas and a nice walk on the dirt roads! Get away from it all and enjoy the beauty and nature.
