Lots of fun for all.

Very cozy house with plenty to do. Community beach and pool are a short paddle away. Fun toys for little ones and lake equipment for everyone. Ping pong table is a huge perk. Property and house were well kept. Master bed is super comfy. You will love it here. We booked twice because it was so great. Thanks Ivars!

Great place to stay in NH for a little getaway!

We had a lovely time at Ivars’ place in Barnstead. The listing was as pictured/described and super clean! Ivars was very responsive and went out of his way to check-in with us during our stay. Check-in was contactless and smooth, with Ivars even allowing us to check-in a little earlier than listed. There was plenty for the children to do, with Gunstock only a 30 min drive away and plenty of hiking options. This would definitely be a nice spot to return to during the warmer months when you can enjoy the lake more! Would recommend staying here!

Loved the location and really enjoyed the outside by the lake. The kitchen was great. The place was listed as air conditioned but it was only two rooms. The front screen door was broken so hard to get that cross breeze going since had to leave the door shut. The place did not look like the pictures on the outside. The front was very overgrown.

Fantastic Lakeside Property

We loved our time on Locke lake and in Ivars home. Everything was as we expected it to be: lovely and easy. Very quaint community. The highlight was the private sand beach where our kids made elaborate sand castles and spent hours uninterrupted. The house itself was great easily sleeping all six of us. Ivars was extremely responsive usually texting back with in a few minutes. Great stay. Highly recommend!

My wife and I and our two kids love spending time by the lake. Our son loves fishing, our daughter enjoys playing in the sand and swimming. Kayaking is my personal favorite kind of "therapy". It makes us happy to offer our guests an opportunity to enjoy the lake life as we do.

Why they chose this property

If you really want to feel like you're on vacation without traveling thousands of miles, our lake house offers that sense of a true getaway from the day-to-day. The house itself is very inviting and comfortable. Step outside and you're on an expansive deck overlooking a beautiful lake. Throw some burgers on the grill, enjoy a campfire, have a meal at water's edge with friends and family. Jump on the paddle board or the canoe or two kayaks and explore the lake with its abundant wildlife and scenery. Enjoy a game of ping-pong or darts in the game room or watch your favorite show while relaxing in front of a fireplace.
