Beautifully decorated condo with awesome Gulf view!

The condo was great! We loved the decor and the kitchen was stocked well. The TVs were very nice and had premiere channels like HBO. We enjoyed our view and the patio furniture was comfortable and nice! Luxury Rentals was very easy to work with. The location of this unit made it easy to get to the pool and beach, and you had easy access to the stairs to get to the ground floor quickly. We would stay here again for sure.

Great property, close to the beach and anything you would want to do in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. Everything was as described in listing. Mgmt. company made check in and check out easy. They weren’t needed for anything else, but can tell they would be responsive if anything was needed. Would recommend.

Summer House 203 A, the oceanfront condo was God sent it truly was a blessing . The decor had a rustic theme which was awesome. The amenities were great I truly enjoyed the heated pool and the personal ice maker . The view from the oceanfront condo was breath taking, waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves was a spiritual awakening . Looking forward to returning soon. The Best Vacation Ever!!!

The location of this condo was perfect!!! I could see the pool and the beach from our balcony! I could look out at any given time and see what my kids were up to! It was so clean and well stocked. Wal-Mart is just up the road. Took like 5 minutes to get there. It did rain some on our trip which did not matter because we had the indoor pool to go too! Perfect spot for the perfect vacation!!! Loved it!!!

The condo was beautifully decorated! The beach access was close and easy. Had a few maintenance issues- ice maker didn’t work, patio door was difficult to open, exhaust fan in master bathroom didn’t work, secondary bath had drainage issues. They did send people out to work on the patio door and bathroom issues. Hopefully they will be repaired for the next guests.

Condo was amazing but construction was not adequately explained.

We stayed in 203a —- the condo itself was perfection. But the property was undergoing construction that I thought was going o be complete BY June 2024 by what I read. Construction was everywhere, parking was a complete nightmare , and so much water walking to get to beach. I think once construction is over it will be perfect but I did feel misled. The price should have been lower for sure with all the construction issues. Two of our four nights we had to park across the street with our allotted parking passes.

Excellent Location!!

This was our first trip to Orange Beach and the beach and condo did not disappoint. The condo is conveniently located on the second floor near the beach ramp and overlooks the pool. The amenities in the condo were nice and we found that there was nothing lacking for cooking. A word of advice, and not anything that the owner or rental company can help with, the gnats are pretty bad around the property so be prepared! And not sure if I missed it somewhere when booking but each condo is only allowed 2 parking spaces. Security does monitor and they will tow! But nice to know the Summerhouse has overflow parking right across the straight if you go in and talk to the manager! Overall a great stay - would definitely consider returning.

The unit itself is very nice. Though it is 1300 sq ft, it is extremely well set up. It is very updated, has new appliances in the kitchen, excellent full size washer/dryer. One of the best stocked kitchens we have had. The unit was just about spotless, very well cleaned. If we plan another off summer trip, we will definitely return here. A few minor negatives...if this is summer season, you are right over the only outdoor pool and being on the second floor I can see where the balcony would not be private or quiet. The outside furniture is very nice, but we had to use 2nd cushions to have any back support. Same thing for the dining room chairs. We spent hours playing cards and games and needed to put cushions and pillows behind our backs. These are all very minor things though. I highly recommend this unit

We overlooked the fact that we were called last minute stating pool was closed but Due to construction all around the condo (including directly above us) it was very loud from 8am til 6pm or so. Lights in master bath flickered a lot, Pipe noises from master bath throughout the night, master sliding door did not lock. Supplies missing that would have been helpful... broom, pot holders, pantry or cabinet space to store food. Parking scarce due to construction vehicles & vendors parking in guests spots. There was a disclosure that some units were under repair but it was way more overwhelming that we imagined.

Very quick to respond to issues but misleading on all construction.

Checking process was easy. We had the code in advance and knew where to pick up parking passes once we arrived. I will say now that parking spots are VERY limited and it’s inconvenient to say the least. The morning after we checked in we noticed that the guest bathroom sink and tub were not draining properly. I called and they sent someone out to take care of it. They were diligent in that. While I had the opportunity I went ahead and voiced my concern and frustration because the listing is not correct on this site. They have already begun construction on building A and it’s a nightmare. The debris that was falling and what you had to walk through to even get to the beach access was not at all what I was expecting. She told me that would update the listing and that they were unaware. I tried to be understanding but as the week went on it became very irritating to carry my child and all our things for our family through the parking lot and back around our building to spend the day at the beach. I felt like for the money we spent we should have been offered something in return for what seemed like false advertising. We also noticed that the dryer was starting to damage some of our clothes and we called to report that as well. Someone came out but it was not fixed.It was leaving black stains on everything we dried. We just starting hanging clothes to dry the rest of the trip.

Needs work but nice overall

The stay was very nice, but the apartment needs work. Pros: THE VIEW Location!! Nice decor Clean The pool Hot tub Flexibility (asked for a late checkout and we got it) Cons: The light in the master bathroom would flicker the entire stay. If you have been drinking it may enhance your nausea. This was my biggest issue. If anyone has epilepsy they would NOT be able to put the light on at all. The doors on the washer dryer kept coming off the rail and wouldn’t close correctly There were water spots all over the ceilings in the master bath, not sure about the other. Plaster on the wall that has not been painted There was only a sheet and an extremely thin blanket at night. I like to sleep with it being cooler and have a blanket on but I think the owners want the energy costs and AC to remain lower and that is why they only provide a sheet and a thin blanket. The bath towels are very scratchy. Overall the only real issue that really bothered me was the light in the bathroom. It felt like a strobe light every time I had to go in. We saw on another review there was gum on the rug and the couches were dirty. That was NOT the case for us. Everything was clean and nice. Apt has a little bit of a funky smell but that was probably because the air was so high and the apt so hot when we first checked in. The smell went away quickly. We had a great time! The place was decorated soooo cute but the picture do make it look nicer than it is. The value is there though. How long will you and your crew be chilling at the apartment and not on the beach? Probably not that much. Would I stay here again? Maybe, maybe not. But we had a great time.

Beautiful accommodations

The unit was extremely clean and the check in process was the easiest I have ever experienced. The unit is close to the elevator and although it was extremely busy there was not a major elevator delay like there is it some other locations. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and the balcony is more than generous. Overall, it was a great location and great accommodations.

Pretty pictures but needs several repairs

We enjoyed the location of condo and being so close to the pool and beach. We loved the views from the condo. We were in love with the beautiful pictures online but were somewhat dissatisfied with all the repairs that need to be done to the unit. We saw patched holes on walls that were not painted, ceiling in master bathroom above shower has a patched area with black mold in it. The 2 doors covering washer and dryer need to be either replaced or taken down. they were broken and don't stay on the track or even up. One almost hit me in the head because if it was touched it would fall over. We had to brace them up so we didn't get hurt. There was a crack in one of the guest rooms tv. It did work but you could see the crack when the tv was turned on. The couches in den are very comfortable and love the style but they need a cleaning because they have stains on them. There was, what looked like, gum on the den big rug. Also we could not figure out how to turn on the garbage disposal. We looked under the sink and saw there was one but we also saw wires hanging from it that were attached to a battery mechanism so we didn't try it. We try to not let anything go in the sink. If it does you have to get it out with your hands. I am simply saying all this so you know what you are going to get. I looked at reviews before I booked and all the repair statements I saw said they were fixed. But in staying there I see they might of been only partially fixed. The main issue I pray they do correct is the 2 sliding laundry doors. Those are really hazardous. I will say that we saw several of these broken doors behind the pool bathroom building. So apparently this has been an issue in multiple condos. If repairs are completely done it really would be a beautiful place and worth spending your money on. I hope this helps.

We appreciated the attentiveness of whoever it was who sent us texts - welcoming us, answering questions, etc. I always got a prompt response, whether it was an acknowledgment of my response, a thank you, or information about the WIFI password. We also appreciated the well-appointed kitchen (I think the only things we wished we had were a Tablespoon measure (this was the only one missing) and a coffee scoop. We loved having an ice machine and the washer and dryer were very nice. We also liked being on the second floor, not waiting long for elevators and the carts. And the location - loved that a Wal-mart was so close. The only suggestion is to change the bed description in the ad. There is a king, one queen and two DOUBLE beds in the 3rd bedroom. We have children that are as big as adults and they had to double up in double beds. We made it work but the description was misleading. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay and we would highly recommend it.
