Hidden from view, a true Treasure of the mountains awaits. This charming cabin is nestled amongst a soaring canopy of trees at Deep Creek Lake. Hidden Treasure features cozy comfort with all the extra amenities. As an added bonus, you can bring your dog on vacation too!

Relax in the great room by the glow of the gas fireplace as you make plans to explore the Deep Creek Lake area with your favorite people. Tasteful furnishings, a TV, DVD player and hardwood floors combine to make this a welcoming spot to gather.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make home-style meals when you are not trying out one of the area's many restaurants. Dinnertime will quickly turn into quality time as you swap stories about swimming, skiing or hiking. Access to the adjacent deck is convenient for afternoon barbecues when you have the urge to grill out. You can dine outdoors surrounded by beautiful, natural scenery.

During the summer months, you will appreciate the AC window unit in the main level bedroom that is furnished with a queen bed, TV and Blu Ray DVD player.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms that are designed with your comfort in mind. Each has an AC unit, and you will find that it is easy to unwind after a fun-filled day at the lake. A full bath is located on this level as well.

The lower level is outfitted for entertainment! Watch the big game on TV, browse the DVD library or break out the board games. Plus, there is a queen sleeper sofa if you need an extra sleeping space.

Offering you a private haven, the lower level primary suite has a queen bed, TV, DVD player and a private bath. Access to the patio gives you the opportunity to stargaze before bedtime or get a breath of fresh mountain air when you awake.

The two covered decks can be enjoyed no matter what the weather. Start your morning with a leisurely cup of coffee on the front porch that overlooks the yard. The back deck is where you will find the bubbling outdoor hot tub that will soothe tired muscles after hitting the slopes or hiking area trails.

Centrally located, the best of Deep Creek Lake is at your fingertips. Drive five to ten-minutes in either direction to reach favorite activities, restaurants and shops. Head to Deep Creek Lake State Park in the summer to swim at the sandy beach, rent a paddleboard or take a guided hike. Local marinas rent boats for the day, so you can cruise miles of shoreline while exploring quiet coves. When the snow starts to fall, you can ski, ice skate, snow tube or snowboard. Throughout the rest of the year, they offer mountain coaster rides, golf, ziplines, Segway tours and much more!

We had an amazing stay! The house was nice clean and smelled good. They have a nice room downstairs with games and window air conditioning and fans in every bedroom. The Hot tub was clean and was a nice addition to our stay. We even saw deer and a mama bear with 3 cubs off the trail next to the house.The portal with door codes and attractions was so easy to use. Everything you could need is close by groceries, restaurants, gas station and the deep creek lake beach! Our family really enjoyed our stay here truly is a hidden treasure.

This is one of the better rentals we’ve experienced in the Deep Creek Lake area. Very clean adequately furnished. Drawbacks are terribly slow Internet. I experience DSL speeds, which is inadequate for streaming. Bring your own hotspot if you want to stream movies or content. The other drawback is the lane up to the house is rough and in need of pothole repair.

Solid property but would be nice to have whole house air.

We like this house a lot, but would have loved it if there had been central air conditioning. Also, the house is on a fairly long gravel roadway, which has a decent amount of ruts and will get your car dirty, but that's not a huge deal. And finally, the host management company has some confusing communication in that they have a huge portal as well as send some information by email, but it's hard to find something when you're looking for it.

The house was nice and had tons of sleeping rooms. It was decently clean but could use some additional sweeping in hidden areas. The fridge was super clean which was wonderful. It had many items in the house that were for our use which was nice.

The view

My only thing I could suggest is the smell, the place did have an odor to it. The worst was the bottom room. Over all the place was nice, perfect size, great views, great area, close to State Parks! The pictures are exactly what you get!

Nice Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is well maintained. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The patio in back runs the length of the cabin and was a good place for working on fishing gear. The hot-tub was nice too. The property is quiet, located at the end on the road, with woods in back. The property manager has a deal with a local company that will buy groceries for you and deliver them to the rental place ahead of time. This was very convenient. The biggest drawback was the road leading up to the cabin. It was in very poor condition during our stay, with several deep potholes. Our minivan would bottom out in places. Also the driveway is quite steep.

Hidden Dump

This property was very dirty, pet friendly or not if I owned or rented this property I'd never let someone show up to spend a week on a family vacation in filth. The bed on the first floor was never changed from the previous stay, hair, and dirt, the grass hadnt been cut in weeks, leaf debris all over the patio which was then tracked into the house and into the hot tub. The kitchen sink drain was clogged in which my husband had to unclog. This place is less than desirable. Could be nice if it was cleaned properly and the outside was upkept, but apparently the concern is making money not anyone's experience while they stay.

Wonderful weekend

My husband, myself, baby and best friend enjoyed our weekend at this beautiful cabin. When we arrived everything was clean and in great order. We were surprised at how large the house is. We really only used about half of it. We enjoyed the local activities. There was lots to do. A few notes, when we arrived the garbage disposal did not work. The management company came and took care of the problem. Later in the weekend we struggled to get the hot tub to work. It does work! The management company came and reset the breaker. When the email says to bring 4 wheel drive.... Make sure you listen. Even though the dive was very pleasant and easy to get to, the last .3 mile is extremely bumpy and would be hard in the winter. We had a truck and no worries. For us this was a positive because there was no traffic! Positive notes :) The kitchen was well equipped. The furniture and bed was very comfortable. We look forward to coming back!

Vacation Cut Short

The property is actually smaller than the online pictures. The bathrooms had little clearance between the sinks/toilets and the walls/doors. While the listing mentioned you need a four wheel drive vehicle in the winter it didn't mention in the summer the dirt road leading to the property is full of large potholes which leads to a bumpy ride to the property. There is no cell phone coverage at the property which is expected because of its location. The internet service is provided via sattelite so it and television stop working in stormy weather which we encountered. When we logged on to wifi we got a message that said "data limit has been exceeded so your speed has been reduced." We were unable to read a newspaper on an ipad because the internet speed was so slow it sometimes took a full minute to load one page. We checked in on July 23rd so with a full week remaining the internet serviced exceeded the plan. The management company was no help because we needed to contact the owner. The only contact point we had was the management company. We checked out after one full day because we were so disappointed. The Deep Creek lake area is beautiful and certainly a nice place to vacation, just don't stay at Hidden Treasure.

Very Modest Home

First, I must say everything was in good working order. All appliances, A/C, TVs, hot tub were all in good working order. The home is small and quite modest. While everything worked fine, it was hard for our family of 2 parents and 2 20 yo boys + 1 dog to move past each other! That aside, there really is no yard and the property could be more attractive if the yard were just slightly more landscaped so folks could do a little cornhole or horse shoes outside. While it's not mandatory to have an SUV to access this last house on the lane, the potholes really need attention. There is no reason at all that the dozen pot holes on the access road and the deep rut in the driveway could not be attended to with a little muscle, and a mere 1/2 truckload of crushed gravel. This could easily be filled and fixed in a few hours. A little TLC with furnishings, landscaping and road work would make this a much more attractive rental.

This cabin was perfect cozy space! However the gas fireplace does not work and needs to be repaired if it’s going to be advertised. And the hot tub struggled staying hot. It was more like a cold tub which was disappointing because we were really excited for that amenity.

Very clean and cozy

This place was extremely clean and it had everything needed for a comfortable vacation: dishes, towels, bunch of games for kids. There was a thermostat in every room so every family member could adjust temperature in their rooms the way they liked it. Great water pressure in the showers, which is important for me. We were also very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I have called the office 15 minutes after our arrival because we need it someone to help us with the small issue and maintenance guy came over in like 15 min and was super nice. Overall, I would say this place looks better in person than on pictures. Really enjoyed it and will try to come back.
