Private Spacious Home, Large Yard, Beach Neighborhood

This is a spacious ranch house with a large private lot and plenty of parking, close to recreational fields and still within walking distance to beach. This is a residential area geared toward quiet families. When you stay here you will feel like you are home.

Three plus air conditioned bedrooms, patio, futon/couch(s) in living room, sleeps six plus easily. Large deck. Fenced and hedged all around for privacy.

Please note: We are geared toward renting from Saturday afternoon (move in) to the following Saturday morning (move out). Requesting other time spans (such as Sunday to Sunday, or Tuesday to Tuesday) means that both weeks are fragmented and more difficult to find renters for. While we can try to accommodate such requests, the pricing will need to be adjusted to account for this.

Excellent for family oriented vacation

Owner was very responsive. He met us at the check in time and toured the property with us in case we had any questions. Wonderful fencing and yard, hammock and fire pit.

Everything was just lovely at this neat house. Rooms had been refreshed recently...new kitchen, new lower (better for older children) and upper bedrooms. It's in a very quiet neighborhood but so close to great East Matunuck Beach and handy to shopping venues. The owner, who is located close by, gave us a tour of the large yard and answered any questions. A gem of a find!

This was 2nd yr at this property. Owner (& son) responded immediately to my few questions. The large deck and fenced-in yard was a blessing with 4-yr old and 20 month old! The hammock, double swing and firepit made for great family gatherings. AC units worked great! Beach at end of road was convenient with parking close to it.Location of property was perfect for trips to Dinosaur Place in CT and RI attractions.

Peaceful, Spacioys Setting

The property owner was readily available to respond to any questions I had prior to moving in. This property has a large, private yard with a big deck and an additional patio area. There is a fire put and grill for outdoor socializing. Two large bedrooms and a living room/dining area are on the ground level, along with a well-stocked kitchen area. The downstairs level is best suited for older children and teens. This is a great property for a multigenerational family vacation, and is very close to the beach, attractions, and shopping

Great time, a nice place and a great renter

We've been renting in this area for over 30 years and this was the best landlord/owner we've ever encountered. The place was well maintained, air conditioned, comfortable and had a huge yard. Big back deck with enclosure to keep you protected and a great outside shower to rinse off or take a complete shower after a long day at the beach. Nice private road where even our 7 year old granghild could safely ride a bike and keep active. The best part is that they didn't lock everything up and openly invited you to use it. They wanted you to enjoy a little piece of their heaven. The Hunters

Best place on the shore in Rhode Island

This is the fourth year we've returned to this property. Its become a "second home" (not really) for our family in late August. Short bike ride to a terrific state beach. The owner is very helpful if needed. He accommodated my wife who was in a wheelchair the first year we rented, with extra ramps in the house.

Nice family house close to beach

Very good experience at comfortable 3 bedroom ranch. Most everything you’d need. Clean & feels spacious. Only minus is third bedroom in basement little musty. Yard beautiful. Air conditioning. Nice decks. Owner very helpful & met all of our requests, sheets, hairdryer, iron/board…we travelled from FL so didn’t have somethings we miight have brought if we lived nearby. Would highly recommend for family vacation.

Came to help us in an emergency

When a hurricane knocked out the power in the whole region, the owner was there within a few hours to provide a back up generator and we were back in business. So appreciated his attention to our needs! This is the third year I have had my family summer vacation in this house which is close to the beach. Great place!

Relaxing at the Beach

The location is quiet and convenient. The house was perfect for our needs and had everything needed for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful location. The owner went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of. We felt welcomed from the minute we arrived. Looking forward to a return visit next year.

Great family vacation!

My family and I totally enjoyed our stay. The host was very accommodating and always available. He answered any questions I had about the rental or the area very promptly. The house is in a perfect location close to beach all, a great yard and the house had more than enough room for us. I would highly recommend this rental and consider it again. Phil

Accessible (mostly) home near the beach

We needed a house that was accessible with a wheelchair. This house worked perfectly - almost. The ramps to get in, out and around the house and property worked well for a power wheelchair. There was lots of space within the house to maneuver on the main floor. The only problem was the bathroom was too narrow for the power chair. And there was limited space around the toilet to make an easy transfer from the smaller transport chair to the toilet or shower. We solved this challenge by purchasing a bedside commode and using the outside shower. Overall, this was a terrific house for our family. Lots of space and kids and grandkids could come and go. Near the beach and shopping. Lovely and secluded deck for meals or just relaxing after a long day at the nearby beach. The owner was especially helpful and easy to reach if needed (rarely). We hope to do this again next summer. My only suggestion is to clarify on the web page that accessibility is not 100%. We left the bedside commode for the next guest who might need it.

Nice home big backyard

This was the fifth year in a row that we rented this house for our summer vacation. Great fenced in backyard for the kids to play in. Super close to the beach. Owners are very responsive if there’s ever an issue. We love it and will be back next year.

I personally love this area. It is the only vacation home I own, and I use it whenever it is available for my own rest and relaxation. So often I go there and never even make it to the beach, I just enjoy the tranquility of the area.

What makes this property unique

With the large yard, and the privacy fencing and hedges, it makes for a nice getaway. The peaceful neighborhood makes for a nice walk. At night the stars are plentiful.
