A nice, quiet cabin with enough room for a group. The large covered porches are great for sitting outside and enjoying the surroundings. The dock is nice, with access to kayaks.

What an amazing stay we had, everythinjg lined right up with what our expectations were! loved the spacious master bedroom and the natural lighting. So very conveinient, the place just felt like home. Would highly recommend staying here. As a matter of fact we will be booking this property again!
My daughter and I loved this house! We walked down to the dock to fish and take in sunsets. She loved the loft with lots of windows and spiral staircase. Very convenient to St. Mary's where she had a swim meet. We would definitely recommend it and stay again!
Easter weekend 2022, my family and I went there. It is a beautiful location by the water, kayaks were available and a small firpit area as well. Everything you could think you would need was provided. I had my pups and they enjoyed swimming and laying on the porch while my family and I sat in the rocking chairs.
Great location for us. The house is cozy and had everything needed for a 4 day weekend. Beds were comfortable. Stereo system on television was great. We will be back!
Really liked this place a lot! Enjoyed the use of the kayaks provided to explore the creek, take pictures of the abundant wildlife and the beautiful scenery. The accommodations were top notch! Beautiful wraparound porch that we all loved, excellent entertainment system, cool art and decor, comfy beds in a natural secluded and quiet setting.
My wife, myself and parents and sister and her husband stayed here. We loved the location, the peacefulness of the area and the privacy of the backyard. It was a good stay and nice to disconnect. The reason for the 3 star however is that the house needs some TLC, the baseboards and floors are all pretty dirty, the bathrooms don't feel entirely clean either. Things just feel a bit drab all over, curtains have holes in them, could use some new towels etc. Outdoor areas are nice, don't expect to swim anywhere in the overall area as the jellyfish have gone wild.

Hi Cyrus, we're glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay overall. We take cleanliness claims very seriously and appreciate you letting us know about this. We passed your feedback on to the homeowner who let us know that they have inspected and replaced any frayed towels, curtains, and are regularly performing deep cleans of the entire home. We appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us the means to improve and provide 5-star experiences moving forward!
Lovely location, very quiet and relaxing getaway. The house was very cozy and our kids loved the spiral staircase. Excellent service from the property manager and owner when the AC failed - they had a repair person out to fix it within hours. Great experience, thank you for sharing your home!
Great place for families with kids. Lots of room to run around. Quiet area, lovely view. Nice to sit on dock in the late evening and enjoy the water and bird watching. Over-all a good stay.
I visited the place to celebrate my birthday weekend with my children. We didn't even get to enjoy the place as much. There were cans of beer on the upper level balcony, lots of ants on the deck and all over the property, and the doorlocks get stuck.
For someone with anxiety, these issues are not small. I felt unsafe in the house. I tried to reach out to evolve and the owners but no luck. Even my kids asked me what bedbug bites look like cause we all just ended up with bites by the end of the trip.
It's a nice quiet location, we'll just have to find a better rental place next time. To this day, neither Evolve, nor the property owners, have responded or reached out to us.

Hi Veronica, we're sorry to hear you weren't thrilled with your stay here.
- We followed up with the homeowner, who confirmed that his property manager did not hear from you with any concerns while in residence, though he would have been sure to address them right away.
- We also confirmed that the bites you mentioned were from mosquitos, which are common in this area during the summer.
- We apologize for the delay from us at Evolve but are glad we were able to come to a fair solution after hearing about your concerns.
The homeowner is committed to providing a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests and assured us that all items mentioned have been addressed!
Lovely, quiet, restful, clean cabin with incredible water access!
Wow! We just returned from our stay and it was fantastic! The cabin and property were even better in person than any photos can convey. The house is beautifully surrounded by mature woods and the private dock was just terrific. So peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We had a wonderful time exploring St. Jerome's Creek in the kayaks, hanging out and watching the sunset and sunrise on the dock, reading on the huge covered decks, eating outside at the table under the covered desks, watching movies in awesome surround sound, and exploring nearby points of interest. If you want to visit Point Lookout State Park make sure that you go very early if it is a weekend. Otherwise the park will reach maximum parking capacity and will be closed to additional visitors. In terms of eats, carry out from Hacienda los Guayabos was fabulous! Finally, our little dog LOVED running around the huge backyard and hanging out with us on the dock. We will definitely be back!
Well the location is perfect, and peaceful. The property has everything you need to stay with your family. There is need for more cleaning and maybe making space for the guests. For example clear closest. Otherwise we love it, and we are planning a comeback. Very nice casi perfecto... un lugar hermoso.....
Nice place as a central point to discover Southern Maryland. Although we did not take advantage of the Kayaks, We enjoyed fishing (no fish caught) and Badminton at the property and biking in the neighborhood. A short drive from point lookout, St Mary, Breton Bay and Calvert Cliff beach where my son found several fossilized shark teeth.
A private, quiet, efficient and unique house in the woods on the water. Very well appointed and very comfortable. Large covered outdoor space. Good day-trip drives to sites worth seeing (Lookout Point; Solomon's Island; St. Mary's). Can let the dogs run off-leash, get wet, do what dogs like to do but can't in the city. Provided an experience richer than expected.
A wonderful retreat location to reflect on what’s important. Relaxing on the deck, dock, or in the kayaks are all great options. A cozy living room to relax in the evening after trips to Point Lookout, or other local adventures was just what we wanted.
It's small and definelty rustic but has everything you need. Great location, we loved the view. It was a quick little getaway for us before school started, went kayaking, hiking and grilled out. Property owner was attentive and quick to reply with any questions.
We loved the location and privacy. Enjoyed crabbing & fishing off the pier and kayaking! Beautiful and serene rocking on the porch! Hope to return for another long weekend some day.
The property is perfectly located on a private road at the water. The home had everything we needed and was comfortable. Cleanliness is the only area that needs improvement but should be easily fixed moving forward.
Thank you for allowing us to use your home! We would love to stay again in the future.
