Perfect for our family getaway

We loved this house! We had a small snafu with the pool but the property manager was super responsive. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bathrooms all have toiletries, which is a nice touch. All around worth the money!

Wonderful Spot

Just as advertised. The pool was warm, the decor was fabulous and everything worked perfectly. Grateful to find such a nice space from which to enjoy Palm Springs.

Just what I'd hoped!

This was a great house. Walkable to downtown Palm Springs. It was spotless and we enjoyed the pool. The outdoor space is great. We hope to come back soon!

My teen kids loved the home and private backyard. The pool and house was clean and quiet. The kitchen was stocked so we could make quick snacks and meals. We would love to come back again.

Not one complaint! the house was exactly in the pics. It was lovely!! We had so much fun! The pool was clean and cool, we loved the lounge area. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling. There were so many little things the guest has around the property to help make the stay even funnier. We defiantly go back.

Fun Times at the Banana Cabana

I loved staying here with my friends! The property was clean and getting in and out was simple and easy. All the rooms were clean and the backyard and pool area were top notch. The only thing that was rough was it was so close to the airport so you do get plane noise and it isn’t walkable for downtown but if you have a car it’s quick to get anywhere you want to go!

Perfect weekend getaway

My friends and I had a lovely time at the Banana Cabana! Everything was carefully thought out for maximum comfort and fun for guests, from the preheated pool to the adorable decor touches to the well equipped kitchen. We ended up switching dinner plans to takeout in order to enjoy the space more! Check out instructions were easy as well.

A great place to stay!

My friends and I came for a girls’ weekend. The house was very nicely decorated, with great attention to detail. Everything was as described. Great backyard with pool, chairs, cornhole and a fun treehouse! Rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Downtown was about 5 minutes away. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Palm Springs!

Palm Spring gem

Our first time in Palm Springs and this rental. It was everything it was advertised to be. First class accommodations and artwork. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of indoor and outdoors games. Nice heated pool and hot tub. Great themes in the bedrooms. Nothing negative to say. Can’t go wrong with the banana cabana!!

Gorgeous, mid-century gem with so many thoughtful touches!

I stayed here in May 2025 with three of my girlfriends for a quick weekend getaway. We loved the Banana Cabana and all the lovely and thoughtful details it had to offer. It's beautifully decorated and very clean, and I've never seen such a well-stocked kitchen at a vacation property. The pool and jacuzzi were sparkling, and the tiki treehouse is so much fun. Each of the bedrooms are adorable and comfortable. We were so thankful to see fresh sunflowers and a delicious fruit bowl welcoming us on the dining room table when we arrived. Relax, follow the (very reasonable) rules and have a blast!

Great place!

The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only drawback is that it is on a busy street with lots of road noise throughout the night. The instructions for trash were inaccurate or outdated. We put the cans out and they were not emptied up until we left.

Stylish and comfortable

We just stayed for a week at the Banana Cabana with our two adult sons. Stylish house, very comfortable and clean, well stocked, backyard is gorgeous. We loved spending time there. My only negative comment: it is on a very busy road and near a busy intersection. Traffic dies down from about 10 to 3 but busy otherwise and despite being in the backyard, you do hear it. Otherwise wonderful.

Couldn't have asked for a better place for a long weekend getaway.

My husband and I stayed at the Banana Cabana to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We had a few must-have criteria when searching for a place to spend this long weekend (pool, spa, dog friendly), and the Banana Cabana had it all and then some. I literally couldn't believe it when I found it online. Space-wise it was more than we needed for just the two of us and our dog, but the price was so reasonable we figured, why not? Given the pandemic and being stuck in our house for months, we were mostly just looking forward to a change of scenery, including staying at a place with a pool. We could not have asked for a better place than the Banana Cabana. We spent most of every day in the pool, napped in the awesome tiki treehouse, and enjoyed the lounge area and hot tub at night before curling up on the couches inside to catch up on our shows. It was exactly what we needed. Rick and Keith keep a beautiful home and the property management company was responsive to all communication. The Banana Cabana is where we intend to stay for all future Palm Springs visits.

Perfect in every way!

I couldn’t be happier with my stay at the Banana Cabana. Every detail was beautiful and fun. We loved the house and the backyard. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who made sure that we had everything we needed. The contact person at the management company was also very responsive and made sure all my questions were answered. I am looking forward to returning to Palm Springs and staying at the Banana Cabana again!

Great family escape

Had a great time. House has a cool theme and decor. We love it. Very fun and loved the color art. Back yard also fun. Roomy enough for two families. Kitchen had everything we needed and backyard was a lot of fun. Pool, treehouse, and tiki bar gave the house a fun atmosphere. On a busy street but it was quite inside.

Kids loved it!

Our kids loved the fenced in back yard pool, tree house and corn hole court! The house was nicely renovated, with sleek mid-century modern design. Everything is labeled for easy use. The only small issue was the second shower drained so slowly that it wasn’t usable and the faucet water was cloudy white ( but the host provided bottle waters). The location was good overall - historic mid-century modern neighborhood and close to downtown- however the house is located on a busy street, so you have to watch out if you have little ones. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Thanks to the hosts!
