This spacious and calm lodging is located in Playacar, the most exclusive area of Playa del Carmen in a privileged location with less than 10 minutes walking distance to the beach, 5 minutes to the golf course and 15 minutes to the famous 5a Avenida and downtown Playa del Carmen.

Enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean Sea with its turquoise waters and its fine white sand.

The 18 Hole Hard Rock Golf Course was designed by Robert von Hagge and it offers food and beverage with the green fees. Please check the current rates directly with the Golf Course.

The famous 5a Avenida with its huge variety of shops and restaurants is near Paseo del Sol (closer than most of the large, all-inclusive hotels in Playacar).

This spacious, 116 m2 (1249 sqft) apartment has got 3 bedrooms (two 1.80m wide beds and one double bed), 2 bathrooms , fully furnished kitchen, living and dining room, balcony with view to the pool, 3 TVs, washer and dryer as well as a safe, air conditioning and Wifi.

Paseo del Sol provides 24/7 security, it features a large - 95 m (1022 ft) long - pool, gardens, a tennis court, gym (renovated in 2016), Wifi at the room, the lobby and the pool area, elevators and a parking spot. The beach in Playacar is at only 5 minute walking distance.

Very Nice Place

My family of 4 stayed at this property and loved it. It’s located in a very nice and quiet area of the city close to the beach and with a nice pool. The hostess was very responsive to a few minor issues we had. Great place overall!

Wonderful vacation

Carla and Lupita were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The pool was amazing for our two grandchildren aged 7 and 8. Lots of amenities within walking distance and taxis were easy to find just across the street at the Reef.

This place was AMAZING! Host Carla is fabulous, with great communication and so accommodating. The condo is clean, practical with all supplies you need. The pool / grounds were beautiful. It is a quiet place, definitely not a place to party… beach was 5 minutes away, shops 9 minute walk and downtown (5th street) was only 20 minute walk! 10/10

It’s a great property with good amenities in the dead center of the complex. Karla was great and was available for a safety box issue and some extra towels. I would stay there again. Don’t go if you like the party atmosphere. It is quiet and relaxing just like we wanted over New Years.

Wonderful apartment and complex managed by amazing people

My family and I had a lovely 10 day break at Paseo Del Sol. The apartment was exactly as described and the complex was lovely and quiet. My family and I truly appreciated the 65m pool - only a handful of families / couples in at any time so it felt particularly safe during Covid times. A massive thank you to Lupita who went above and beyond answering our random questions at any time of day. Thank you so much, we hope to see you again soon.

Winter Escape

The condo is perfectly located close to the middle of the complex, 2nd floor, overlooking the beautiful pool area. Morning shade made if perfect for sitting on the balcony for a breakfast overlooking the pool. The staff of tremendously friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Carla, The Property Manager, provided 5 Star service from the go. At least a 15-20 minute walk to 5th Ave. shops and restaurants. Grocery stores are 25-35 minutes walk. For a short stay (2 weeks or less) this is a great choice in Playa del Carmen.

Absolutely terrific

Our stay at Paseo cel Sol was perfect! Playacar is safe and secure and the walk into Playa del Carmen only takes about 20 minutes. There are excellent restaurants, tons of shops, bars and nightlife. Several grocery stores are also within walking distance. The property is second to none. The staff was very attentive and eager to please. The pool was phenomenal: clean and well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and groomed daily. Carla, the property manager was simply great. She responded to emails within minutes and was very helpful in providing us with info for dining, grocery shopping and anything we asked her. Thanks Carla!

Wow! Perfect condo for a perfect vacation!

We have been staying for 5 weeks in condo Reef 204 in March 2017. The condo is so beautiful with a direct view on the 90 meters pool! It has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms very nicely decorated! But what made the perfect vacation for us, it is her manager, Carla Kaser,.... she's a gem! Prompt and professional service, very polite and well educated and always ready to help us. When we needed something, the next day we had it and she speaks French, English and many others languages! Many thanks Carla... you are the best!!

Pictures don't do this place Justice, it is Amazing!

This condo has everything! It is impeccably clean, and organized. They give you plenty of toiletries to last your trip and we lacked for nothing when it came to what was provided in the kitchen. Beds are so comfortable and they give you plenty of towels for pool use and for home use. The Pool is sooo much nicer then the pictures show. We were here a week and never once had to fight for a chair. It is super close walking distance to the beach next door which you are provided a day pass. We walked to town multiple times during our stay. Getting a taxi was extremely easy, and we never felt taken advantage of. Carla was a blessing to work with-- she is amazing! She answered any questions big or small. I highly recommend this home. A+++ rental.

Unfortunate Experience

Our adult family of 5 stayed here during the Christmas holidays. It was not a pleasant experience. We requested a kettle or tea pot and were told to use a pot to boil water for coffee or tea. We didn't think this was an unreasonable request. The shower in one of the bathrooms flooded. Water ran onto the bathroom floor, which had to be cleaned up with towels. The toilet also flooded and we were reprimanded for putting toilet paper in the toilet. We again had to use towels to clean the floor. We were not able to use this bathroom for two days until they were repaired. When we asked for extra towels, since we had used them to clean the wet floors, we were told that we would have to pay for extra towels.All 3 TV remotes had dead batteries. Two were replaced, but we were not able to use the living room remote because it was corroded. The outdoor grill was filty and the gas tank was rusty. We were not able to use the grill. The door handle on the master bedroom door kept coming off. Carla asked me how she could rectify or make the situation better. I stated that we would like a credit for the 2 days that we were not able to use the bathroom among other unfortunate events. We were told "no"- when we focus on negative things, we attract negative things. Focus more on the positive" Instead, she asked to send me flowers. We were also told that "this is not a hotel".We travel a lot and this is, the worst experience we have ever had and the response from the owners- unacceptable.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Carla is a great host. She responded to our queries in a very timely manner. The condo was exactly as it appeared in the pictures. The condo is in a gated complex with 24/7 security guards…the pool is quite lovely. There is a nice gym on the premises. The condo location is ideal…it’s about a 8 minute walk to the beach and about a 15 minute walk to 5th avenue.

My family and friends enjoyed this spacious property that was exactly as it appears in the photos. We enjoyed its proximity to 5th Ave and bonus beach club access right across the street. Amazing condo complex

My husband and I stayed at the Paseo del sol complex in a condo managed by Carla. It was excellent!! The condo was as it appeared in the pictures. One of the property managers(Lupita) met us when we arrived and any questions or concerns we had were immediately answered and dealt with. Fabulous vacation. We will definitely be returning. Three weeks but wishing it was longer!

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return. The condo itself was well laid out and had everything we needed for life of a family of 6. Carla even added an extra blow up mattress for our youngest who still sleeps in a crib at home. Carla was wonderful to chat with and very helpful when responding to messages about the condo and questions about places to go in Playa. There were a few maintenance issues which were addressed within a timely manner. Some of our favourite things were the comfort level of the beds, the fantastic gym, and the gigantic pool, the a/c, and the sunsets on the roof. The staff were super friendly too!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Paseo del Sol. Carla is an excellent host and a great asset for the owners. She responded quickly to any questions we had and addressed any small issues immediately. The condo is in a coveted spot, is very clean and is well appointed. The pool and grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the onsite staff very attentive. Access to the beach is easy and is close to Quinto Avenida which has many shops and great restaurants. Thank You Carla for making our stay a rememberable one!!

Great location

We traveled with our 2 boys, ages 17 and 12, we felt very safe. It is in a gated location with additional security outside the condos. The condo was very clean and the owners left some fruit and chips for us, very grateful. The condo has a washer and dryer and we had cleaning services one day during our 5 day stay. We walked to the shops almost daily and also to the beach. Would definitely return!

Wonderful and comfortable location!

The condo was exactly as advertised and very comfortable! Location was within a reasonable walking distance to beach, shopping and restaurants. The pool is terrific and we used it at least once a day. We felt very safe during our stay - security was always at the gate and were professional but friendly. Last, Carla was always responsive -from greeting us at arrival to checkout. She answered all of our questions regarding the facilities and local area and made us feel welcome! Thank you, Carla!
