We loved our stay! It’s a great location with beautiful views. You can tell the property is older, but it’s been wonderfully updated. The rental company is well organized and prompt with responses. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place and has everything you need for a good time on the island.

Wonderfull experience and was so great in letting us stay until the tram pickup. Very responsive with everything from Check-In to kayak. We would stay here again!

BHI Memorial Weekend 2024

What a wonderful Vacation!

The house was perfect. Plenty of space, super clean, fully equipped with everything we needed and an amazing location. It was so much fun! We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and exercising! Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!!

Great place to stay!

Wonderful place in Timbercreek. Well equipped kitchen and a great screened porch overlooking the marsh. We especially appreciated having a six person cart as well as a four person- great for getting stuff to the beach. Would stay again.

Golden retreat

We stay here every year! Beautiful views, everything is in working condition and the kitchen is stocked with spices and general things one would need. Rooms and beds are cozy. Dog bowls and treats are provided we will be back again! I'd love to take out a kayak once my kids get bigger!

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time at A Golden Retreat! The condo was clean, cozy and comfortable; the kitchen is well stocked; the good carts were in great shape; the kayaks were easy to use - everything was perfect and we would definitely rent A Golden Retreat again!

Wonderful Labor Day

The whole family really enjoyed their trip. Loved that it had 2 golf carts so we could do separate activities. Enjoyed the canal out back and the overall peacefulness of the island.

Golden Retreat

We enjoyed the Golden retreat. The loft was great for kids with the spiral staircase and the location on the island was great. The condo was well stocked and had almost everything you could need during your stay. It was especially nice to have the kayaks.

Best Vacation Spot Ever

This condo and Bald Head Island did not disappoint. The condo was true to its discription on VRBO and there were no unfortunate surprises. This place was perfect in every way. Bald Head Island too. I will definitely stay at this condo again.

Golden Retreat

Very cute upper level unit with amazing view of the marsh and sunrises! Owners have thought of almost everything, including cooking essentials and everyday items. Loved our time here!
