Garden unit features a kitchenette with new cabinetry, granite countertops, living room, bedroom, spacious bathroom with a large shower and a private oversized patio garden. The Garden unit sleeps up to four, with a king bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. For added convenience there are 42' flat-screen TVs with cable in every room, washer/dryer, dishwasher, iron & ironing board, free wireless internet, central air conditioning (dedicated to each unit), off street parking with close beach access. While staying in our Gardens, you will have access to the DeSoto Beach Hotel’s (located next door) beachfront pool & sundeck, beach chair, and umbrella rentals.

As reported the room had a bad musky smell. The dishwasher was broke. Desk person said someone would come daily to tend to towels and trash that didn’t happen.

Great location......convenient to everything.

We usually stay in places with an ocean view but wanted to try something different. If you plan on being out of the room enjoying the beach or other things.... it doesn't really matter. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of an oven or a quality frying pan for the cook top. If you're the type that prefers to just eat out.... it won't matter.

A Very Relaxing Stay!

We had a terrific time and stay! The unit was as described, roomy and well appointed with nice touches, like the towel animal (elephant!) in the bathroom. Patio was lovely, and the pool, while small, was warm! Beach access and chair/umbrella rental was very nice. Thermostat controls worked great, since the April weather could not decide if it wanted to be cool or warm outside! The mid-beach location was just right for what we wanted. There were a couple of cleanliness items in the unit that probably need to be addressed (for future, fussier people!) The nice wood wall trim/molding needed to be dusted/vacuumed, as well as the living room cloth lamp shade and bedroom carpet. We covered the fabric sofa with a fitted sheet in order to feel comfortable sitting on it. (fabric was dirty and the feather throw pillows were shedding feathers) We also had to wash the coffee machine/pot. There was old dried up coffee splatter on/in it. We bought a plug in air freshener at the IGA because there was a bit of a musty smell. All in all, a really nice place/location that we would recommend.

Cold, foggy, damp, rainy February stay but we enjoyed exploring the area.

The property was perfect for 2 people. Close to the beach, restaurants, lighthouse and the praline shop. We ate breakfast in and just used this as our home base as we visited Savannah also. We were hoping for nicer weather. We were in long pants, 2 layers and jackets all week, but it still beat the Illinois snow, ice and temps.
