Charming lakefront, 5 bedroom, 4 (3 en-suite) bath getaway, located on a quiet country road minutes to Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center, Holiday Mtn Ski area, Monticello Gaming and Casino, Spas, Distilleries, Antiquing, Hiking and more.
Welcome to our vacation home nestled between the whispering pines and free flowing ferns of scenic Mongaup Valley and all conveniently located on the "quiet side" of Swinging Bridge Reservoir where the bald eagles nest. Have the best of both worlds' quiet tranquility and a short drive to all that the Catskills Mountains has to offer.

DON'T LET THE OUTSIDE OF THIS HOUSE FOOL YOU AS IT APPEARS SMALL HOWEVER THE 5 BEDROOMS, 4 BATHS, (3 EN SUITE) FIT JUST RIGHT

Enter through the bright and spacious kitchen where it's easy to prepare a great meal. Step through the open dining room where an inviting wood burning fireplace beckons you to stay a long time. Enjoy a glass of wine in the lakeside living room surrounded by windows this is a favorite spot in any weather. The game room downstairs is perfect for rainy days or winter nights with-it's full-sized air hockey table, basketball challenge, free play arcade game, and big screen TV with PS4.

The lake outside is the real star relax in the private backyard with fire pit and lawn games. Enjoy the lake with the kayaks, standup paddle boards, and canoe. You can jump, swim and fish all off the private dock. There is also a large hot tub on our new deck take a soak under the stars. Enjoy dining al fresco on our lakeside deck with one of the best views in any season.

Wonderful time!

We had a wonderful family vacation at the lake house! The home offered plenty of room for our family of 7. My kids loved the bunk beds and game room. We spent all day out on the lake. Having private dock access was great. We enjoyed swimming and using the kayaks and paddle board. We definitely would love to book again!

More than enough room for my friends and I. The property is exactly how the pictures portray and the lake was amazing. Great houses that can accommodate a large group

This is a really nice house, there are a lot of things to do and it fits a large group very well. It is well supplied with the dishes and cook wear that you need. The view is awesome and we loved the hot tub. Great place!

Much needed change of scenery

Katie was a great host for this beautiful lake front home with plenty to keep the whole family occupied. Kayaks, hot tub, game room, bald eagles soaring over head, great hiking near by..the list goes on. We had a really relaxing and fun filled family getaway, would most definitely return.

Amazing family vacay

My sister and I (with our families) came to get away and spend quality time for a couple of nights after Thanksgiving. It was the perfect stay!! So much room for all of us. Most bathrooms have been renovated from the pics. Great game room. The lake was so peaceful. Great family trip!!!!

The lake is lovely and peaceful - we saw some eagles! Craig's house was perfect for our group of 7 - enough space to spread out and be comfortable. Everything we needed for a few relaxing days away - including air hockey, kayaks and a fire pit to name a few.

Great place on the water

Everything went very well on check-in and room accommodations. We spent a lot of time in the kayaks and in the water. Easily accommodated our party of 7 adults and 3 kids ages 5 to 9. Property manager took care of any issues immediately.

We are the proud new owners of this great property. After staying 4 summers ago down the road we fell in love with Swinging Bridge Lake and all that it offers. We also own the house directly next door with another 7 bedrooms giving you the opportunity to have 12 lakefront bedrooms and enjoy both properties at once.

Why they chose this property

The Hudson Valley and foothills of the Catskills offer a wide variety of outdoor adventures, scenic vistas and culinary experiences.The Lakehouse is situated just minutes from the world renowned Bethel Woods concert venue, Monticello Raceway, mind body and spirit massage and yoga retreat center (ask about in home treatments) and has assembled a variety of activities within the confines of the property. Lake it is only a 90 min drive from NYC and an hours drive from Stewart International Airport, allowing you to be in another world with an easier pace and in a natural and relaxed setting in a matter of minutes..

What makes this property unique

Our house offers such a wide a variety of recreational experiences one could simply stay within the limits of the house, yard and lake to find the adventure of a lifetime. For those who care for motorized lake sports the far end of the lake abounds, for a quieter and slower pace one can enjoy the nearby dead end of the lake for a day of fishing and relaxing. There is also much to be seen in and around the region and always something to be left for the return trip to our lakefront paradise. Hudson river walkway, Mohonk Mountain Preserve, Minnewaska hiking trails and many other historic places are within an hours drive.
