Perfect Location

The property is nicely situated close to the beach. The glass-protected veranda allows a very nice view on the ocean and the shady garden - protected by a large hedge - is a good option for breakfast, rest in an armchair and reading. The owners's sister in law received us after arrival for hand-over and the owner arrived two days before our departure for check out. We were invited for a cocktail and the relationship was more like between good neighbors rather than between owner and tenant.

Our stay in Barneville-Carteret

A very nice location with seaview and close to the beach. Barneville is very centrally located and the great and sometime enormous beaches are within 30 minutes car-distance. The house is surrounded by a pretty big garden, with all kinds of possibilities, including car park. The interior is simple but clean and adequate. We cooked daily and all necessary items were available. Fresh food markets circle around close-by villages. A very kind host was present shortly after arrival to explain about the property and the nearby region possibilities. All and all recommended for sure, especially after-season!

Unser Aufenthalt in Barneville Plage war großartig! Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben, zudem sauber und gemütlich. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und sogar ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk hat auf uns gewartet. Von dem Ausblick aus dem kleinen vorgebauten Wintergarten (und dem Schlafzimmerfenster!) konnten wir gar nicht genug bekommen - dem Atlantik bei Ebbe und Flut zuzusehen war einfach klasse. Trotz Hauptsaison war der Ort und der Strand nicht überlaufen. Wir können dieses hübsche Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen und gut ausgestattetem Haus direkt am Strand. Der Blick von der geschützten Terrasse auf das Meer morgens bei einer Tasse Kaffee oder abends bei einem Glas Wein waren einfach nur toll.

Wunderbar erholsam. Es liegt ruhig und strandnah. Der Blick von der verglasten Veranda auf das Meer war zu jeder Tageszeit spannend. Küche sehr gut ausgerüstet. Sehr sauber! Praktisch Parkplatz im Garten

Très belle vue, au calme

Merci aux propriétaires, adorables, nous avons passé un super séjour dans le cotentin. Barneville Plage propose peu de commerces (il y a tout à Barneville Bourg ou bien Carteret à moins de 10' en voiture / vélo), mais c'est en contrepartie très calme. Bref, un très bon choix :-) Stéphane

Gute Lage, ungepflegtes Objekt

Abgesehen von der optimalen Lage direkt am Meer waren wir von dem Zustand des Hauses und des Gartens sehr enttäuscht. Die Gartenmöbel hätten wir vor Gebrauch reinigen müssen, sowie den Garten von Unkraut befreien. Bei einem Objekt in dieser Preislage setze ich voraus, dass die Fenster selbstverständlich geputzt sind und das Bad keine Schimmelfugen aufweist. Die Wohnung machte auf uns einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Wir werden sie keinesfalls noch einmal mieten.

Monsieur Maximilian n'a pas eu de chance ! un évènement externe inattendu nous a effectivement empêché de préparer les extérieurs de la maison pour la saison d'été. Cependant en opposition à tous les commentaires précédents, ce commentaire grincheux oublie la situation privilégiée de la maison, sa propreté intérieure et son équipement très complet.

Super Meerblick

Sehr herzlicher und unkomplizierter Empfang durch die ( auch gut englisch sprechenden) Eigentümer. Im Haus alles nötige vorhanden und ausreichend Platz. Herrlicher Blick auf das Meer von Schlafzimmer sowie Wohn/Essbereich. Schöner Strand in 2 Minuten zu Fuß. Cap Carteret und Port Bail leicht mit dem Rad erreichbar, sowie auch die Märkte in Barneville und Carteret und auch der Leuchtturm. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich ,hilfsbereit aber unaufdringlich. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns auch Tipps zu den Märkten in der Umgebung. Alles war ganz unkompliziert. Die kleine Veranda mit Blick aufs Meer ist wundervoll. Man kann die Stimmungen über dem Meer auch bei zweifelhaftem Wetter auskosten.

Das Ferienhaus steht in erster Reihe mit Blick auf`s Meer. Es ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Fahrräder (ältere Modelle) wurden von den sehr hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Vermietern unentgeldlich zur Verfügung gestellt.

merveilleux séjour en Normandie

Le charme de cette maison et son emplacement sont fantastiques. La vue de la chambre est merveilleuse. La Côte des Iles mérite qu'on s'y attarde. Les propriétaires sont proches et très à l'écoute tout en respectant l'intimité des personnes accueillies.
