This 2-brm apartment is an excellent base for two couples from which to explore Cairns and surrounding attractions. It's spacious, clean, comfortable and fully equipped.

Our host was always easy to reach. There was air conditioning and parking available. The apt. Is a bit dated and there was noise from the building beside it. It was in a great location for Cairns.

Rachel's place was an ideal base to explore the Cairns region. The place was clean and well kitted out if you want to self-cater. Secure off-street parking available, fast internet and comfortable beds. Each of the two queen size bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom too.

Great location but the property is starting to look tired & worn. Ceiling Fans only worked on one speed. Outside areas need a tidy up and stairs need a mop. It’s a pity it’s not getting the care as it is quite a good complex .

Our kids enjoyed the pool once they fished the dead palm fronds out of it. The balcony is perfectly positioned above the pool so we could supervise them in it. Rachel gave us all the info we needed. The apartment is conveniently located and spacious with all the basics to help you feel at home. We could have stayed longer as our one week flew by!

The accommodation was ok. On the first floor so there are stairs to climb. The unit was clean. We stayed for 3 days and received one towel per bathroom (2 bathrooms) for the three days. Beware the showers are quite high to get in and out of. Very difficult if you are an older person. The owner should install grab rails. Both showers have 1/2 screens so the floor is very slippery when getting out. The ceiling fans were very dirty. I mentioned it to the owner and she said she would have the cleaner check them out. The pool is not attended to and is not inviting because of old palm fronds floating around in it. We did not swim in the pool for that reason. It is pretty central and easy walking distance to the central of Cairns.

Great apartment for a short vacation in cairns

Apartment is very large, has everything you need for a short vacation. The apartment is about 25 minutes walk from the promenade. Everything is very easy to reach. We would definitely come back again.
