A Beautiful piece of heaven steps from Lake Erie. Whether you choose to relax in this amazing home, or enjoying the many wineries in walking distance, you have picked a real gem!

You will have full access to the home with three large bedrooms rear deck, hot tub. This home accommodate six people with one king bed one queen bed and one double bed. All bedrooms have high-quality brand new mattresses and new bedding for your comfort. There are full laundry facilities for your convenience. The master bedroom has an en suite with beautiful shower in the main bath is a full bath with tub. Both amazing bathrooms have in floor heating.
You can enjoy dinner in the dining area that seats 6 or chill at the breakfast bar with seating for 4.
The gorgeous kitchen has all the amenities you need with granite countertops and high-end appliances. Off the kitchen you’ll find a side deck with barbeque for grilling!

There is a great lake view from the living and dining area as well as from the third bedroom. Sit and relax and enjoy the sounds of nature in the rear yard or on the large deck with sectional as well as patio table and chairs.
You can enjoy a fire at the outdoor propane fire pit or relax in the hammock while listening to the sounds of nature. End the day with a soak in the hot tub with your favourite glass of wine!

Nice cottage in Colchester, nicest property in the area. Communicating with the owner was easy and we really enjoyed the stay; plenty of room for 3 adults (a couple and a single) and 2 small kids.

Super clean and fully stocked with anything you could need. The host was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Hot tub was awesome!! Note that the property is one house away from the water but that did not detract from our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wine Down by the Lake. Tracey was a wonderful host and was probably the most communicative of any VRBO host I have experienced. Her cottage was very cute, very clean and in close proximity of several wineries in EPIC Wine Country. The neighborhood where the cottage is located is interesting, but we were only home in the evenings since we were out and about every day (so not a big deal). I would recommend Tracey's cottage to anyone looking for a long weekend getaway in the Lake Erie North Shore.

Wonderful cottage

This is a very cute cottage…everything you would need is there! The beds are so comfortable …check in was so easy and the owner was very attentive and answered questions right away. We’d recommend and would stay there again!

Tracey was a fantastic host, I booked this property for my family that was in town for my wedding.Everything was provided for them in the property and the kids had a blast playing in the hot tub and with all the toys provided.A great location as well, I’d highly recommend this property.

A Great Easter Weekend

Stayed at Wine Down By The Lake for a quick Easter Weekend get-a-way this year. The house everything that we could have asked for. Extremely clean, good location, and good hot tub to relax in. Appreciate everything the host did to make us feel welcome and have a great stay!

Weekend wedding getaway

Fantastic accommodations with everything you need and then some. Great time was had by all. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a teenager. Could t have asked for a better place to reconnect with family, This will definitely be our “GO TO” accommodations when in the area.

Relaxed in comfort

what a charming, well kept, cozy property that easily hosted my husband and I and our dear friends. The hot tub was a treat, and there were enough bikes for all, with a view of the lake off the back deck. We had such a lovely time and will be sure to stay again and again. The host, Tracey, is responsive and makes herself available when needed.

Amazing

Tracey's property is beautiful. Its location on the lake is so peaceful and a perfect place to unwind. The property has everything you need. Walking distance to a couple of wineries. Bistro 42 had amazing food. Tracey really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

A wonderful sister’s trip

What a beautiful place this is to visit. The house was charmingly decorated and clean. Tracey communicated with us regularly though we had no issues. The view of the lake from the deck and hot tub was enjoyable and check out was a breeze. We will definitely be back next summer.

A wonderful escape

Tracey’s home was absolutely wonderful to stay at and I would definitely visit again! Her home was completely stocked with everything you need to have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Tracey was easy to reach and clearly communicated all instructions for checking in and using different equipment at the home. I would recommend to anyone looking for an escape in Essex wine country.

Perfect Girl's Weekend

The four of us loved this cute three bedroom cottage on Lake Erie! The house was updated and super clean. Everything was awesome and we enjoyed the inside and outside areas of the house. The hot tub was amazing in the morning while we drank coffee. The wineries were so close and we biked to five of them! CREW, North 42, Viewpoint, Oxley and Paglione. We also visited Cooper's Hawk (not the US chain) and VIN (not on our bikes). We loved them all!

Loved it!

It was a cozy little place. My 2 children enjoyed setting their rooms up when we got there with their goodies and toys. Loved making dinner and breakfast for my family while there. We went to many surrounding places. I told my husband we are going back in the Fall. He said we'll see lol! :( Thanks Tracey!

Lovely place with everything you need for a quiet weekend!

Stayed here recently with family for a quick weekend getaway while visiting Point Pelee. The cottage is very well stocked and had everything we needed - utensils, indoor and outdoor dishes, board games, etc. We joked about making a full thanksgiving dinner. The outside of the cottage looked small but once you go inside you realize it is extremely spacious. We also enjoyed the deck and the peaceful surroundings very much. Tracey is great to work with, and very accommodating. She worked hard to ensure communications were clear and everything was in order. Would stay here again if we are in the area!

Excellent Getaway!

We were looking for a place to stay nearby a wedding venue. Our only desires were proximity and a hot tub… once we saw the pics of Wine Down by the Lake, we were sold! The location is nestled with other cottages, but the property is private with a fire pit and hot tub off the back deck. The interior of the cottage is completely modern with all the conveniences you could ask for. Our GPS was a little off as far as the location on the road, but each cottage has large address numbers so no issue finding the correct one. We are already talking about coming back when we don’t have a wedding and we can just lounge and enjoy the cottage! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
