About this property

Hidden Gem in Wilderness of The Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Camp Flapjack)

Snuggle up by the cozy wood stove, or gather around the fire pit and watch the waves roll by on Lake Michigan at our secluded beachfront cabin in the woods. Located a quarter mile from the historic Seul Choix Point Lighthouse. The open floor plan with loft has that rustic feel that you look for in a vacation spot, and boasts a view of the lake that can't be beat. Being the only residence on our road, there is plenty of peace and quiet, with a short drive to grocery stores and supplies in Manistique, MI.
During your stay you can enjoy many attractions that the Upper Peninsula has to offer including:
The Seul Choix Point Light house (giftshop, tour, and boat launch)
Seney Wildlife Refuge
Big Springs (kitch-itti-kippi) in Palms Book State Park (just west of Manistique
Pictured Rocks National Park on Lake Superior in Munising ( about an hour)
Tahquamenon Falls
Mackinaw Island or City (approximately 1 and 1/4 hours away)
Two inland lakes just 5 miles from the cabin.

When the weather is uncooperative the Kewadin Casino (and restaurant) is 18 minutes away from the cabin. The casino is right across the road from Treasure City which is a great shop for souvenirs

Retired Navy man. Me and my wife have had this property since it was just a piece of land. We've slowly built this place up into a great place to stay, and would like to share it with others.

Why they chose this property

We saw the lake front and knew this was the place
