Downtown Portsmouth Private Getaway!

Thanks for staying with us and for the solid review. Glad to hear the location worked well for getting downtown. If there is anything we could have done to bump that 8 up to a 10, I would love to hear it. Hope to host you again next time you are in Portsmouth.

Thanks for staying with us in Portsmouth. Glad the place felt clean and homey for your trip. Appreciate the recommendation and you’re welcome back anytime.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your stay. We’re glad the location worked well for you and that the kitchen setup and clean towels met your needs. We also appreciate the honest feedback on maintenance and overall cleanliness. That’s not something we take lightly, and it helps us know where we need to step things up. Your comments have been shared with our team so we can improve the experience moving forward.

We were surprised to hear this after checkout since nothing about the bed was flagged while you were staying with us. Before arrival, housekeeping had made the bed with fresh, clean linens and didn’t notice anything unusual during the turnover. Once the feedback came through, we had the bed checked again right away. The mattress protector was washed, fresh linens were put on, and housekeeping confirmed the odor was gone afterward. Clean bedding is a basic we take seriously, so we’re glad we could get another set of eyes on it and make sure everything was squared away.

Hi Joseph, Thank you for your kind words about the property and its location. It's wonderful to hear that you found it spacious and well-situated for exploring Portsmouth's restaurants and attractions. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay and hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again in the future.

Hi Judy, Thanks so much for the awesome review! Glad you enjoyed the apartment and that everything was up to par. Always great to hear when guests have a smooth and comfy stay. You’re welcome back anytime!

Really appreciate you sharing your experience. Love hearing check-in was smooth and that the place felt safe, bright, and just like the photos. Glad the location and parking made things easy too. We would be more than happy to welcome you back next time you are in town.

Hi Nick, Thank you for your review. It's good to hear that the internet issue was resolved by the next day, though I wish your stay had started off more smoothly. We always strive for our guests to have a seamless experience right from the beginning. If you choose to stay with us again, we'll be dedicated to ensuring a smoother start. Your comfort and satisfaction are important to us.

Hi James, Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and found the location convenient. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the limited parking and the construction noise during your visit. We appreciate your understanding, and if you choose to stay with us again, we'll do our best to ensure you have a comfortable and peaceful experience.

Thanks for sharing your take. The apartment is set up as shown in the listing, with a dedicated AC unit in the bedroom rather than central air throughout the space. On especially hot summer days, the living area can naturally feel warmer, which is why we try to be clear about the setup guests are booking. When you shared your idea for additional cooling, we did take a look at it. We’re always open to practical suggestions that could make a stay more comfortable, but changing or relocating the AC setup isn’t something we can simply make happen during an active reservation, and it isn’t currently part of the home’s setup. The kitchen feedback was also noted for follow-up. We appreciate you sharing what stood out during your stay and giving us the chance to add a little context for future guests.

Thanks a ton for the awesome review! Sounds like you had a great time, and we’re stoked you loved the spot and the comfy bed. Really appreciate the heads-up about the hooks and blinds too, we’ll keep that on our to-do list. Hope to have you back soon for another stay that’s just as smooth.

Hi Pamela, thanks so much for the kind words. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and we can't wait to have you back!

Hi Adrienne, Thank you for your feedback! We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay and found our location convenient for exploring downtown Portsmouth. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the street construction nearby, but we always strive to make your stay comfortable despite external factors. We're glad you found the parking spot behind the building useful, and we'll update our listing to include it. Thanks for recommending us! We'd love to welcome you back in the future.

Hi Taraa, Thanks for your feedback. We know this review is from a while back, but we still wanted to take a moment to respond. We’re sorry to hear the space didn’t meet your expectations. The AC setup, including the window unit in the bedroom and the fan in the main area, is included in the listing details and photos, but we understand how comfort preferences can vary from guest to guest. Safety is something we take seriously, and we’ve always made sure the setup is secure. That said, we appreciate the note and have used feedback like this to continue double-checking things and keeping guest comfort in mind. Thanks again for your stay, and wishing you all the best with your future travels.
