Driftwood Beachfront is arguably the best location on the bay. Situated in the sleepy beachside village of Vincentia, with a rare northerly aspect that takes full advantage of the morning sun, Driftwood is a real gem of the bay. This house is in the perfect location for all weather conditions, being tucked in behind the majestic gums that provide protection from the prevailing North East winds. The majority of beach front houses in Vincentia are open to the full brunt of the NE winds.
The pristine aqua-blue waters await your morning swims with the dolphins and turtles, closely followed by a relaxing stroll along the white sands of the Jervis Bay beaches. This incredibly convenient location is no more than a five minute walk to Vincentia cafes and Coles Supermarket. The bicycle path is at the front door which provides a safe cycling experience for the family away from the dangers of holiday traffic. To the left it will lead you to Huskisson (10 mins) and Woollamia (20 mins) and to the right around to Plantation Point (5 mins) and beyond. By car Huskisson is a stone's throw...5min drive.
Directly across the road is a park fitted with play equipment for the kids and plenty of shade to lay down and relax.
We pride ourselves on the fact that Driftwood Beachfront is an immaculately tidy house with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and ready for anything you can throw at it. It contains an oven with grill, large fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
The lounge room includes an extra large corner sofa and a large smart tv. The main living area has reverse cycle air conditioning.
There is a laundry that contains a washing machine and dryer as well as a toilet and shower. Bathroom 1 upstairs contains a shower, toilet and vanity while bathroom two is an ensuite that also contains a shower, toilet and vanity.
The property consists of four bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is the Master bedroom with ensuite. It is located upstairs and boasts breath- taking views out of the mirror tinted glass sliding doors. It has a super comfy Queen bed with two bedside tables and lamps along with a large built-in wardrobe and air-conditioning. The glass sliding doors open up onto a large balcony overlooking the Bay.
Bedroom 2 is also located upstairs and has a super comfy Queen bed with two bedside tables and lamps and air-conditioning. This room also has a large built-in wardrobe. Like Bedroom 1, the mirror tinted glass sliding doors open up onto the balcony providing sweeping views of Jervis Bay.
Bedroom 3 is a smaller bedroom also located upstairs. It has a Queen bed with two bedside tables and lamps and a small built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 4 is the kids domain. It contains two single bunk beds and a daybed. There is a smart tv and foosball table to keep the kids entertained and out of your hair when you need a break.
Other things to note
Linen
The advertised price is a discounted price for guests who are happy to bring their own sheet sets and towels. If you would prefer to hire linen and have your beds made up this can be arrange for $25 per bed (including bath towels). Please note that this property is fully self-contained, however it is not a serviced property. Servicing can be arranged during your stay at an extra charge.
Pet Friendly
A number of the beaches inside Jervis Bay are pet friendly so it is a great place to bring them.
We are the proud owners of a beautiful beagle and hate leaving her behind on our holidays, this is why we are happy to provide pet friendly accommodation allowing one pet (dog) at the property. The back yard is fully fenced to contain your pet , however, the beachfront yard has a lower fence. We do ask that you be responsible for your pet messes and clean up after them. We also ask that they stay off the lounges and the beds at all times. Any pet hair found on the furniture will incur an extra cleaning fee of $100 per piece of furniture. Please note, we only allow one pet per stay upon application. Dog only, strictly no cats. If you have more than one pet please contact us to discuss.
We have a strict 'no smoking' policy inside the house.
Noise and Disturbance to our Neighbours
Please be mindful that many of our neighbours are permanent residents and it is very important to us that guests have minimal impact on their peace and enjoyment of their homes.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited will not be tolerated at any time. Noise means any sound that can be heard from neighbouring properties that disturbs their peace and quiet. All music must be turned off by 10pm and care taken when you are outside.
Please respect and preserve the residential amenity of the property and refrain from engaging in any drunken, obscene or antisocial behaviour. If Security personnel or the Police are called to a noise complaint a charge of $500 will be payable and you will be evicted immediately. If a booking is terminated in accordance with the provisions of this clause, no refund of rent or security deposit will be given, and you agree that any such rent or bond withheld is genuine compensation for loss occasioned by you.

Easy check in. Host was super responsive. The home is in the most perfect location. Very comfortable beds and rooms. We were able to get an uber taxi into Huskisson and home after pre booking. Next time we will come back with our dog as it’s a perfect set up to bring a furry friend along.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and live the place and location. The host were very easy to deal with and ensured everything was in order.

Property reviews combined with the property description very accurate. Great location. Accessible, out of the wind, private, lovely neighbour, back yard area perfect for backyard cricket and lounging and overall very spacious. The building is a little run down but nicely furnished and clean. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely return.

You’re definitely paying for the stunning views and beach access. The beach is literally a 30 second walk from the backyard.
The house is very roomy, functional and well laid out.
The pictures actually dont reflext that some improvements have been made to the property eg to the living area and great outdoor furniture.
We had 9 people plus a dog and it was a perfect holiday home for our week long summer vacation.
We’re planning to come back again next year!
Comfortable for all but lacking a few things. Their had been extreme wet weather so we weren’t able to make the most of outdoors. Gas bottles were all empty when we went to shower but Jerry came out in the rain to change them. Beautiful area

Location of the house is amazing as was the cleanliness of the rooms. However the photos of the house are deceiving. You would expect that the photos reflected the quality of the whole house however the downstairs area has not been renovated (although still clean). The stairs from the kitchen to the dining/lounge were not to code and frankly quite dangerous. As was the step from the back porch to the grass. As we had a couple of people with mobility issues it made it difficult to get around. This needs to be reflected in the advertising.Also - there were soggy cigarette butts all over the back porch.In saying that the house is perfect as a pet friendly stay and for a family with kids.
the area was amazing, beachfront view. It was good as it was pet friendly as well. There were 2 small down falls which were in dryer but stated it had one, but it was ok as we didn't need to use it. The upstairs shower head never stay ups. so, we use the downstair shower. but overall, it was a great place to stay. we will still go back and stay there for our next visit. Hoping next month or so..Feb or early March 2024...
We just loved the location. It had everything we need for a family gathering...suitable kitchen, good dining area. It was wonderful to be able to sit in the winter sun and look out over the bush and bay.
this property is A plus for location. backing onto the walking path along the beaches and bay of Vincentian literally at your back door. The property itself is a little dated but comfortable nonetheless. Also clean and lots of space for rubbish. Kitchen and appliances were dated but worked fine. The pictures are slightly “brighter”. The only real improvement would be the back area could use a cover for both rain and sun. Overall really nice stay and would come back.
The location and proximity to the beach was excellent. A quiet house and location. Comfortable to accommodate three families with teenagers.

Superb location
The house is north facing so the front facing the beach gets sun all day. We had the most beautiful Autumn weather over the Anzac Day weekend. There is an air conditioner in the dining area which we didnt need. This house is not fancy but is perfectly fine for a few days stay. We had 6 adults and a toddler. The front lawn and sturdy fence were wonderful for the toddler. Located on the walking/bike track, it is literally a few steps to the beach. Very calm water, lots of sand and rock pools to explore. The house was fine - comfortable queen beds in 3 bedrooms upstairs, an ensuite and another bathroom. An extra toilet and shower downstairs in laundry. Kitchen could do with a refresh but quite serviceable. Plenty of comfy furniture inside and out. Huge tv where we used our own foxtel and netflix accounts. We loved our few days in this beautiful part of the world.

Fantastic family holiday house
This house was great for our extended family and pack of rowdy kids. Everything was extremely functional but not too fancy that we were worried about things getting wrecked. We liked that there wasn’t decorative bric-a-brac all over but there were lots of games and a fusball table. Lots of TVs. The kitchen had good pots, pans and implements for cooking real family meals. The fenced yard was a nice bonus. The separate many-bedded kids’ room was great. The upstairs rooms were lovely too, as were the gorgeous views. Lots of bathrooms which is great for large groups. The dryer was a nice bonus since it rained a fair bit while we’re were there. A really, solid functional holiday home. Could do with a bit of a clean with a few grubby doors and spider webs in the corners, and quite a few light bulbs were burnt out. But we can’t rave enough about the location. Quick walk to the shops and beachfront but quiet and peaceful. Loved the walkway along the front. Close to beautiful beaches including dog-friendly Nelson’s Beach. Would absolutely stay again.
